I work at the computer all day and I read and do computer stuff in the evenings. I've got a pair of reading glasses and a pair of those really expensive progressive glasses that are the modern equivalent of bifocals but there's no hard division between magnification.
I love these wipes! I can use them to clean my glasses safely and then with the moisture that is left I clean the glass on my computer monitor. I can also clean the glass on my TV and the plastic digital display on my table radio.
So, invest a little and save a lot of precious glass stuff not to mention your nerves. Clean the stuff you see and the stuff that you see it with. The individually wrapped wipe is the clear choice for me.

My dad put me on to these. He had been using them for over a year. I tried one premoistened tissue with my glasses and voila! - completely clean with no streaks! I was so impressed, I bought a box for the car, home, and work. This is the simplest method for cleaning glass lenses. One tissue is generally enough for two lenses (unless the glass is excessively oily or dirty- then I use two tissues), and the cleaner evaporates nicely without leaving bubbles, streaks or smears. I can enjoy clear vision wherever I go now. A box or two of these will not break the bank account either - each tissue is about 7 cents (depending on the purchase price of course).
I'm sold on these cleaners.

I picked up some samples of Bausch & Lomb Lens Cleaning Tissues as freebies at one of those trade shows where exhibitors give away pens and keychains and all kinds of other promotional stuff. You know, SWAG--Stuff We All Get. I had some filthy computer screens in my office and was very pleased with the results of wiping them off with this product. Way better than any similar product I'd tried. The screens were as clean and fingerprint-free as new. As far as cleaning my eyeglasses, nothing else I've tried cleans them as well as this Bausch & Lomb product. I use it daily. I highly recommend these cleaning tissues.Customer Review: What happened?!

I LOVED these wipes. As someone who has to wear her glasses or be blind, the cleanliness of my lenses is a huge issue for me. I was thrilled for over a year with my Sight Savers wipes...then they suddenly changed the formulation or something, because now they leave horribly smears all over my lenses! It's not just a bad pack; I bought several before I believed the change was permanent.
If you get hold of an older box, they'll be great, but if you buy new, they're a waste. (Now they're just like the Zeiss ones, which I also tried and disliked. Had the same problem with Walgreens store brand.)

I recently started wearing glasses more often than contact lenses, but I've found it difficult to keep the lenses clean. My husband picked up a box of these at my request, and I have to say that I'm disappointed. Shouldn't lens cleaning wipes leave my lenses clean??! These leave spots on my plastic lenses, and quite often streaks as well. So, although they do a great job of getting rid of grease on the frames, particularly around the nose and forehead areas, I *still* have to clean my glasses after cleaning my glasses.
Worthless.
