Customer Reviews of Bell + Howell Electromagnetic Ultrasonic Pest Repeller

Customer Review: So far, so good
Summary: 3 Stars

I have had this item plugged into my wall for two weeks, and so far, so good. I was killing 2 or 3 of the flying roaches known in the South as palmetto bugs. I have not seen one in my house since I plugged it in. No sound. No muss. No fuss. No palmetto bugs. Fingers crossed it really is working.

Customer Review: Don't bother with this product
Summary: 1 Stars

I had bought this product and I plugged it in on 4-30-08 and this morning on 6-3-08 I found a spider on the ceiling. Now how in the heck could that happen?Simply cause it's not working!!!! Sad ,cause I was happy that there is finally a product to keep spiders and bugs out. What a disappointment

Customer Review: Does nothing!!
Summary: 1 Stars

I had 5 of these in my garage. The rats moved in, nested and ripped apart things. One of these do-nothing rodent attracters was plugged in 2 feet away. I took them back and, because I bought them at [...], I got my money back. Don't waste your money on these. Buy a heavy duty one.

Customer Review: Still see bugs
Summary: 1 Stars

I have had this product in my apt now for several weeks and I still see bugs. I haven't seen any spiders, but crickets and beetles are still around. Also, the noise that the machine makes is a little annoying. I had to keep it in my bathroom with the door closed all the time.

Customer Review: Made No Noticeable Difference
Summary: 2 Stars

I bought 4 of the repeller devices -- one on each of my three floors and one in the garage. I have not noticed any difference at all after 3 weeks of use -- the mice still scurry around. I think a cat may be the best answer, or traditional mousetraps. Not a good investment.
