I bought this scale because I am inspired by the show. I already had a Salter scale that has been really accurate but I needed another scale for my 2nd bathroom.
The scale has been really accurate on its readings and its a great tool for helping me keep track of my weight loss. The cardio DVD included is really fun! I strongly recommened buying this scale for yourself and even as a gift this holiday season!

In response to the ER message on the previous reviewer-I ran into the same thing and called the toll free help number in the instructions. I was putting some info in wrong and not letting the scale do its job. The scale worked great for us. My husband is around 300 lbs, and it worked fine for him on the laminate floor in the kitchen. The only problem we've had was dropping a very heavy glass on it, which broke the plastic covering the numbers, but it still works fine. I also just got mine recently - maybe the person above got a bad scale?Customer Review: The first one did not work at all. The second one works.

I purchased the first one new in November, 2007. The instructions state that it has a 350 pound capacity and that if you exceed the scale's capacity, the scale will give an "Err" message. I weigh about 250 pounds and still got nothing more than the "Err" on the screen. I tried it several times. I tried it on a flat laminate floor surface. I tried it on carpet. It never worked.
After a couple of months and reading the other reviews, I decided to buy another one, in part because the other brand I was looking at did not have a lithium battery. The new scale worked right away.
I would change my rating from one star to four stars, but amazon doesn't allow me to do that in the edit process. They also don't allow me to write an entirely new review.
