I have had my BioBrite Sunrise clock for two years now. I love it! I still struggle with sleep and waking but this clock is the best part of my routine. I also have a Clocky, a laptop playlist, and a regular alarm clock. Most of the time I can go to sleep to the white noise and wake with the light, before the rest of the noise starts. I recently broke the globe, and realize how helpful it has been.
I have struggled with insomnia my whole life, this product is one of the best tools I've used.

This dawn simulator has truly been helping my teen to awaken early for school especially in the dark months. In addition to this, she uses a noisey alarm clock across the room from her bed. The lamp also makes a "sunset" (gradual light fading) which she uses before sleep. The lamp can be a night light and security light. Excellent purchase! For years I have used fans and humidifiers to generate white noise and have been jolted out of the bed by screeching alarms clocks, but this clock has changed that. Although the white noise function is not as loud as a fan or humidifier, I quickly became accustomed to the softer noise and do just as well sleeping with it. The sunrise/sunset feature has totally changed the way I wake up in the morning from a jarring experience to a gradual wake up. If you have trouble getting out of bed as the days get shorter and shorter, this alarm clock will help. It will also help you fall into a really sound sleep at night as well.
The set-up isn't exactly intuitive and it isn't exactly cheap - but I would definitely buy it again.
I especially like the ability to set the length of time it takes to turn the light up/down based on individual preference.
I've had mine two months and I recommend it.

I was so excited about getting this alarm clock. I hoped it would change my life, or at least my sleep pattern. At my current apartment my bedroom gets minimal sunlight and I can't wake up without it. BioBrite recommends black-out curtains, which mine basically are. I love the concept and the details. My problem is that the light isn't bright enough. Plus, I wish the light would stay on (and the alarm would snooze, if set) after it reaches full brightness without me touching it.
