I purchased this light as a gift for my mother. She had a similar one years ago, but when the light went bad she got rid of the lamp because you couldnt get a replacement bulb. Not a problem with this one. I almost made the same mistake by purchasing a different brand! This was super easy to set up and has worked great this past month. She is very very happy and we would recommend this sunrise clock over other brands out there.

I have no problem waking up in the spring and summer -- with the sun rising so early. However, waking up in pitch blackness is not my gig! I eventually get out of bed, but I feel zomby-like. This BioBrite is amazing. I researched sunrise alarm clocks and heard horror stories of the light going on at all different times -- with the exeption being the correct time. Not BioBrite. The time has always been correct, and it feels like I'm waking in natural daylight. Even if I lay in bed awhile, I feel awake -- ready to roll. And I do. I feel like I have more productive hours in my day. Truly. I bought this as a gift for my sister. And I've been suggesting it to everyone who will listen. It has truly made my mornings so much better. And it's easy to set up and use. I'm no wizzard, and I had it set in no time. Love it!Customer Review: I bought it for a gift and it didn't work!

I am highly disapointed that I Paid $130 for any Alarm clock that didn't work! I bought it for a Christmas present and when my mother in law went to use it it did't light up....so she replaced the bulb and that wasn't it. She called the company and they are going to send her a new one. But here I bought the more expensive one thinking it would be better and now she has to go through all this!Customer Review: Very helpful lamp to awaken my teen

This dawn simulator has truly been helping my teen to awaken early for school especially in the dark months. In addition to this, she uses a noisey alarm clock across the room from her bed. The lamp also makes a "sunset" (gradual light fading) which she uses before sleep. The lamp can be a night light and security light. Excellent purchase! i read all of the reviews before purchasing and thought i had made a good decision. really wanted the phillips wake-up light, but it's not available in the states yet. i ordered this item about a week ago, and it arrived this afternoon. the light doesnt work. the alarm clock doesnt work. the only function that works is the clock. but i didnt pay over $100 for an alarm clock. really annoyed. will try to exchange it, i guess. tried calling customer service but was on hold forever. as of now, would NOT recommend the product.
