Customer Reviews of BioNeurix Seredyn Capsules, 60-Count

Customer Review: everybody is unique , check ingredients
Summary: 3 Stars

I was looking for something to take for insomnia and anxiety. I came across Seredyn and read the varying reviews. Because it works for some and not others I decided to do a little research on what's in this product. I found Valerian Root, Passion Flower and Suntheanine, a patented extract of the amino acid L-Theanine (I'm guessing that this company has the patent.) Valerian Root is for insomnia, but for some people, like me, it wakes you up. So, I can't take this supplement because of the Valerian Root. If you have no problem with Valerian then I think this product would be helpful. I looked into Panicyl, which a reviewer mentioned (from the same company) and this product has the ingredients: Ashwaganda, GABA (Gamma Aminobutyric Acid) and L- Theanine (an amino acid). GABA and L-Theanine are suppose to be relaxing and calming, and Ashwaganda is an "adaptogenic herb which is proposed to increase the body's resistance to stress, trauma, anxiety and fatigue". (Wikepedia) This one seems better for me, so I guess it comes down to finding what works for you. Hope this limited info is helpful.

Customer Review: I feel compelled to share my experience

I took Seredyn for anxiety some time ago and it did absolutely nothing for me. When I saw that the maximum dosage recommended did not have any effect I took double the maximum dosage and nothing happened.
I know now that there is no one out there regulating the supplement industry and that they may sell you a placebo and no one would know about it. Also anyone could run such an operation from their own garage quite easily, don't be tricked by the scientific sounding names or by the words "corporation" and the such.
It is my opinion that this is a great scam that relies mainly on the placebo effect.
It does not require a great investment to start such an operation and you could easily double or triple your money from those trying out the product, even have a steady flow coming in from those on whom the placebo effect worked.
I would advise you to look somewhere else.
I have almost completely erased my anxiety through meditation and qigong and a good diet, which is much better than looking for a solution in a bottle.
Hope this helps.

Customer Review: Herbal remedies are usually IF-fy...anyway
Summary: 3 Stars

traditional medicine WILL definitely do the job but like you guys I came off the Lexapro because I was apathetic, indifferent and over weight from it. Alternative remedies on the other hand may or may not work. I haven't used it, to be honest. I do use Bach Flower remedies( Rescue Remedy) and they help my moods. Also Tonico-Heel(homeopathic), but I've been fortunate so far and haven't relapsed into the anxiety attacks since I stopped the Lexapro. If you want to come off the anti-depressants based on what I have read, it will take a combination of things, relaxation
( relaxation response), yoga, exercise , prayer for those who pray, meditation ( mindfulness meditation ) nutrition, herbs etc to get relief. It will take a bit of work on our parts, but it beats the life of anti depressant. But choose one or the other because the constant panic attacks, stress and depression is VERY dangerous to the heart and blood pressure that much is clear in the research I have looked at. It can kill.

Customer Review: Maybe Requires Awareness
Summary: 5 Stars

After reading some of the negative reviews about this product, I felt compelled to describe my experience with Seredyn. I am not affiliated with the company in any way, although I do work in the nutritional supplements industry. Seredyn is my top choice to overcome panic and anxiety. I have had panic episodes since my teen years, and Seredyn not only calms me down but also improves my mood. I can't explain why others here say it "does nothing" other than I've heard people say that all my life when taking herbs or supplements. I think people get in a mind fog, are thinking too much about the game Saturday night, or the soap opera they saw today that they can't really process and feel the benefits of some of these products.
Or maybe people have different body chemistries or whatever, so I can only go on my own experience. Again, I've tried probably forty alternative-healing rememdies, and Seredyn is hands-down my favorite, and the BEST in my opinion.

Customer Review: WAY too expensive for mediocre results
Summary: 3 Stars

Pros: There is actual dosing on the side of the bottle. Sometimes natural products are guesswork. There is also a nice mix of ingredients so you don't have to purchase separately.

Cons: The price. 60 caps for $30? 50 cents a pill. Dosage recommendations are 1-3 capsules "as needed" up to 3 times a day. So $4.50 a day? This would be worth it if they actually worked well. Taking 3 pills gives a mild relaxation.

The verdict: The main ingredient in this is niacinamide, which is BEYOND cheap to purchase. I already have and use a bottle of that in combination with GABA, which is also very, very cheap. GABA gives you more of a tranquilizer feeling and helps you sleep, along with varying other benefits per user. Niacinamide + GABA = great night's sleep and better mental health for less than but no more than $1 a week. Seredyn would have you going through a bottle a week looking for relief.
