The only reason why I took one star off is because it is a bit pricey in my opinion. However, it handles everything I look for: slip, botanicals, softness, shine, great smell, moisture. It handles my thick, dry hair with no problem. I have been on a run of trying other products but I think I might go back to this, because aside from the price, I have nothing to complain about. As I started to grow out my blow dried, color treated hair longer the ends were getting a bit frizzy. I either had to find a product to smooth them out of go back to a shorter hair style. I tried this balm and it worked great on my hair. Some of the other conditioners I tried worked well on my hair, but were kind of greasy and made my skin break out. This balm worked well on my hair and didn't harm my skin so I give it an A+.Customer Review: Makes hair silky

This is a great product for dry or damaged hair or to just get silky shiny detangled hair. My twin daughters love it because it makes their hair soooo soft and brushing is a breeze, no more knots. I even use it on my 6 year old son. He has such thick coarse hair which is now softer and looks so much better. God bless the creators of Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm! This is by far the best conditioner my hair has ever seen! There are already several other glowing reasons, so I won't drone on and on. This conditioning balm is my favorite! It makes my hair so soft and shiny without weighing it down. My fiancee's mother commented that my hair was "soft as a baby's" after using this balm. I have oily hair, but this stuff doesn't make it look greasy at all. I highly recommend it.
