I used to use this product religiously! I loved it, then I this happened..... I was on an airplane to Vegas to meet my husband there. I had put all of my products into one bag (no, I don't fly often.) So I had my hair supplies along with my make-up. Well, when I got to the hotel to touch up I realized that my bottle of biosilk had exploded in my make-up bag. A huge mess, but what really bothered me was when I was clean off all of my make-up that I could salvage I realized that the biosilk removed all of the labels and print on the bottles of make-up and other hair products. In short, why would I want to put something on my hair that removes print that has been typed onto a bottle or removes the labels?Customer Review: The best hair serum !

This is probably the best serum I have ever used ! It did seem a little pricey to me at first... considering i can just go down to wal mart and buy a bottle of serum for less than half the price of this but it is so worth it ! I got my first bottle of biosilk silk therapy in May and i still have more than half the bottle left ! I use it about 3X a week along with my hair straightener and the results are amazing ! I have a lot of split ends due to coloring and heat styling and this seems to seal them right up.... it also doesnt weigh down your hair and it doesnt have any scent to it which is nice. I dont think I'll ever switch back to any other hair serum ever again !!Customer Review: A MUST Have!

I bought the three piece set at CVS (shampoo, conditioner and the silk therapy, all 12 oz bottles and for $27 its a steal!)
Other posters here are correct, a LITTLE goes a long way. Three days before I color my hair I do a deep conditioning with the silk therapy serum (wet my hair, apply and wrap in a towel, I leave it for an hour) and then I comb dry.
After coloring (48 hrs) I do it again and since I've been doing this, my color has stayed longer and richer. More importantly, my hair is in better condition than it ever has been.

I have bought this item in stores before, and know what the mixture should look/feel like. When I got mine from Amazon in the mail, the top was taped up with scotch tape--not a good sign. Sure enough, the mixture appeared to have been heavily diluted with either water or rubbing alcohol--it was all water at the top. I tried to pour some in my hands to use it (and this is after shaking it vigorously) and it was literally like I was pouring straight water out. The real mixture should be thin but gel-like. This product was a total ripoff and I'm surprised; Amazon has never let me down before.
Don't buy from here!

This hair product is truly the best. This particular product was used every time I went to the salon. I was pleased with the results, so I went and bought a bottle of my own. You will not be disappointed! It's especially good if you wash your hair, and, before blow drying it, you rub it in your hands, and just smooth it all over the wet hair. Blowdry as normal (I usually do it with a large brush), and the hair comes out silky, shiny, and gorgeous. It also smells great too! Finish off with a flat iron, and your hair will look absolutely amazing! (I have very long, around 3 ft of hair, and this can handle it!)
