I'm diabetic and have extreme problems with dry skin and chapped lips. I usually use Carmex for my chapped-lip problem, but found this product to be much better. It's not greasy, and I felt the difference after only a day or so. It has a pleasant, cooling effect on my lips and doesn't wipe off. It actually seems to absorb into my skin and make it softer -- without the cracked and bleeding places. I have and would recommend it to all of my friends and relatives. Blistex Lip Medex is a great product for relieving dry, cracked lips. It has the consistency of petroleum jelly and comes in a pot. What's particularly good about it is that it doesn't have the strong, camphor odor and taste as the regular Blistex in a tube. But it's as soothing and provides the same quick relief.
