I would have given this 5 stars but the hand grip has a few stray, pointy fibers that dig into my hand. I will have to find small scissors to snip them as I find them, yes, they hurt.

Onto the dry brushing: Love It! If this is your first time, be sure to take it lightly since this is a hard, vegan bristle brush. Start at your feet, using long, gentle sweeps, working towards the heart. If you remember that all strokes are towards the heart you can't go wrong (it helps you work towards the lymph nodes if you don't know where they are). Dry brushing not only makes your skin feel alive, exfoliates, gets the blood pumping, it also is touted as helping your lymph system work better. After each dry brushing, you build up your skin's tolerance and can brush a bit harder next time. I like to dry brush before bed as it relaxes me and helps me sleep better. When I dry brush at night I use circular motions and do it for the massage aspect. I will dry brush in the tub, before my morning shower, using the long, sweeping motions towards the lymph nodes and heart. I use a separate plastic brush for the shower so I don't get my dry brushes wet.
