I bought these to replace a "LaCross" clipper that I had for over 15 years. The looked to be the same online......but not even close.
There are gaps in the blades when closed and held to the light. When you clip with them it's like using old pliers. They shatter the nail, more than trim. And I don't have thick nails.
I probably should have returned them, but that's more trouble than they're worth. I *assumed* they would be chrome, but they appear to be cheap pot metal. Buyer beware....
