This stuff is AMAZING. I have a 3 year old who's had a cold for over a week, and the over the counter medication recommended by his ped was not doing anything. I'm not comfortable with the idea of giving him cold medicine anyway, so I decided to give this a try. I am so glad I did! Within 24 hours he barely had any cold symptoms. His runny nose disappeared, he's no longer sneezing, he can actually breathe, and his appetite has returned. He does have a bit of a dry cough now which unfortunately this does not treat. Best of all, the pills are small, dissolve easily and he seems to enjoy the taste. I'm going to give him the Chestal Honey Cough Syrup and hope it works as well as the Coldcalm. I was really surprised by this too. I had the beginning of a scratchy throat, and had that achy/joint pain feeling that this was "going to be a bad cold" - so I took this stuff, not expecting much and allowed myself a day to rest and sleep. The next day I felt almost 100% and the cold never really developed into anything at all, just a slight runny nose. My boyfriend got the same cold at the same time as me, didn't take this stuff (men, they never listen ;-) and he's felt miserable all week and he's still fighting major cold symptoms. I'm a little amazed to be honest, but it seems like a combo of ColdCalm and rest at the very beginning of a cold does wonders!Customer Review: I'm impressed, it works!

I'm a skeptic when it comes to natural remedies, but I was tired of the foggy feeling brought on by cold medicines, and definitely tired of being sick. I followed the direction (1 tablet every 15 minutes for 2 hours, then a tablet every hour after that) and I felt better. I became congested again overnight, but when I resumed the hourly dose the next morning, my head cleared up, and I was able to go to work. I felt alert and energetic, without any sinus congestion or sneezing. I am going to recommend this treatment to my father, who can't take regular decongestants because they raise his blood pressure.Customer Review: Calming and FDA approved using HPUS BUT...

A lot of people assume because it's homeopathic it means it's safe. Things to know. Some of the ingredients in this concoction are really not safe to take if your a renal patient,have an auto-immune disorder (like Multiple Sclerosis=what I have),and heart patients. There are parts per million of the herbs actually in the medicine. However,in patients like I described above you must be really careful. Especially with things that may thin the blood. Like belladonna. So is it safe.. yes for some people. Other than that-I found it chalky. I like Boiron's other products. This one just needs some work.Customer Review: Great Product!! It works...

I have 2 little ones and usually every cold they get usualyl gets worse and turns into an ear infection or bronchitis...usually being treated by antibiotics. So I had nothing to lose but a trip to the doctor so I decided to try this. Within 2 doses, my littles one "all gui nose" went away and she actually started eating better (as she could breathe). Within 24 hours, she still has a mild cold compared to the previous day of coughing up phelgm. Anyway, try this product. It works!! I really dont know what Triminic or Mucinex have besides making my kids sleepy......
