I have never had a skin allergy in my life and i am 45. I bought Boots no7 protect and perfect eye, protect and perfect cream day cream, and protect and perfect intense serum. I used for a few weeks and started getting horrible red rashes on my neck and face. I had gotten occassional rashes on my scalp recently too. Since Boots no7 claims to be Hypo allergenic I assumed it was something else. I read aveda sap moss had parabens in it and I realised that maybe that was what was causing my rashes so I threw our my hair products which all had parabens. I also threw out my and my facial masks which has parabens. The scalp rashes cleared up but I still got rashes on my face so I was buying more Boots no7 at target and thats when i read the labels I realised all the protect and perfect products are LOADED with parabens-- like 3 or 4 different kinds. I will ask you go type in parabens and skin rash and read for yourself why these horrible chemicals shoudl never be in something like a face cream. Anyway, I took back every single boots no7 product I had purchased and got a full refund and I have no more rashes because i now only use an organic face soap, cetaphil and clinque moisturizers.
The important take away here is I am not an allergic person , I have no other allergies and never had a reaction before , this stuff should be avoided not just because of the rases but I also read that it acts as a phyto estrogen and can cause other health issues when absorbed into the skin and can cause weight gain and tumors.
