I needed one of these gizmos after back surgery, when I could not bend or twist. I have been very pleased to discover the tool of this kind as it solved one of the annoying problems due to the lack of mobility in my back. I have tried four different aids I found. This particular gadget does not work well in the back because the ball of toilet tissue is to thick to get into the crevices.
I found that another Bottom Buddy worked much better Ideaworks Long Reach Comfort Wipe. It works just like a hand, without having a big mop at the end of the wand.Ideaworks Long Reach Comfort Wipe.
I bought several Bottom Buddies (to have in every bathroom, after 6+ month of use they are holding up well) and noticed that its price varies from $6.50 to $19.99 (while eligible for free shipping too). So it is a better solution at a better price.
