Customer Reviews of Bounce Dryer Bar - 2 Month Outdoor Fresh, 44-Use Box Carton and Plastic Clamshell (Pack of 6)Customer Review: Dirge for a dryer sheet Summary: 5 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Dirge for a dryer sheet:
Wispy fragrant sheet,
You are so easy to forget, but essential to remember.
To forget you is electric.
As they are retrieved, charged clothes snap and pop.
Fabric clings to legs and bunches uncomfortably.
My shirt sticks with me.
Wispy fragrant sheet,
You will no longer litter my floor or be secreted away by my puppy who will shred and leave the destruction behind.
Wispy fragrant sheet,
No longer will you bunch and hide in fitted sheets stubbornly refusing to reveal your hiding place.
Oh, I will remember you fondly for you did your job when I did employ you.
But I will not hire you again.
I have found a worker who is ever at the ready.
A worker who stays put in the dryer.
There is no fear of forgetting as there is nothing to remember.
There is nothing to find, for the dryer bar is never lost.
Snug in its case adhered to the dryer drum, it waits patiently to be employed.
And it works!
Seriously, the design is fabulous. The dryer bar is easy to take out and replace. As it is adhered to the drum of the dryer the clothes are evenly affected. This is a fantastic product! I will not use dryer sheets again.
Customer Review: A whole new way to soften your clothes! Summary: 4 Stars

Bounce Dryer Bar - 2 Month Outdoor Fresh, 44-Use Box Carton and Plastic Clamshell
This is a new concept in dryer softener/anti-static additions. I've been using Bounce Dryer Sheets for years and was intrigued by not having to do anything else after installing the bar. I'm one of those belts and suspenders kinda guys. I also use Downey in the wash. I've found that either alone never quite got the results I wanted. So I still use Downey but now have the Bounce Bar installed in my dryer.
I've done quite a few loads now since the new Bar and am pleased with the results. The fragrance is good and the softness and anti-static properties are right what I expect. It was easy to mount in the dryer, but I haven't removed it to see how easy it is to remove. When it comes time to remove it, if it's anything but a clean result I'll amend this review.
My concerns are the true cost. I know when I use one sheet a load that's my cost. We'll see how long the bar actually lasts and whether it's as economical as a sheet. The bar is fairly easy to slide out if you have a load you don't want to "soften", like maybe sneakers? That would also be a good test to the ruggedness of the mount! Overall, it does what it claims and makes life just one step easier in doing your chores.
Customer Review: It's Worked Well For Two Months--But Not Worth Paying More Than Dryer Sheets! Summary: 2 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Sometimes creating innovative products that are "new and improved" is overkill and this Bounce Dryer Bar is one such product. Although dryer sheets tend to be very inexpensive (you can get a big box of about 100 of them for only a few bucks and they last you for a long time), the geniuses at Procter & Gamble thought they'd get cute and make this "dryer bar" to take the supposed hassle out of using dryer sheets. I've been using this product for a couple of months and it does a pretty decent job of softening the clothes and preventing static cling.
But what's the point of making a product that is much more expensive than the product it is supposed to replace? How hard is it to reach up above your dryer, grab a dryer sheet, throw it in with your clothes, and be done with it for pennies compared with this dryer bar? Plus, I learned the hard way that this convenience from the dryer bar can be a headache when I heard it rumbling around in the dryer. I thought some change got loose or something, but it was this dryer bar.
If the bar was CHEAPER than the dryer sheets, then MAYBE it would be worth it. But for the price you pay and what it does, just stick to your good old faithful dryer sheets. Your wallet will thank you!
Customer Review: Absolutely Excellent Summary: 5 Stars
We have an electric dryer. When we wash clothes we use detergent and also add some OxyClean. We do not use fabric softener. When we put the clothes in the dryer, we do use dryer sheets. After this process, our clothes come out without static electricity holding everything together, and with a fresh "dryer sheet" scent. For me, this is perfect.
We wife bought the dryer bar. I don't know how the price stacks up against just using dryer sheets. I put the dryer bar in my dryer and months later it is still in place. We have a 5 year old who loves to change outfits several times a day, and a 9 month old who loves to vomit, so we do a lot of laundry. Two months later (almost) this thing is still working just fine. It provides better performance than using a dryer sheet. The plastic base is securely in the dryer. Someone said there is a "con" of it leaving a sticky residue in the dryer when you take it out... well, you're not supposed to take it out, just replace the dryer bar cartridge with a new one. We have not had any incident with the dryer bar product rubbing off on our clothes.
Bottom line is this: The product works AS ADVERTISED!!! If you hate having dryer sheets stuck in the leg of your jeans or filling up the laundry area trash can, or are just a lazy guy like me who realizes using the dryer bar means one less step when doing laundry, then this is a product for you.

At first I was so in love with this product. The smell (outdoor fresh) was incredible & I'd get whiffs of it off and on throughout the day from my clothes & my bedding. Even my husband was getting whiffs off of his clothes at work. We all loved it. Although it still smells good by the end, it's only when you are taking the clothes out of the dryer that you smell it anymore. Sure couldn't beat the smell for the first several days though. I couldn't get enough of it.
Due to the fact that I have an Super Capacity washer & dryer I knew that it wouldn't last me as long as stated because we always have it packed full. It's only been 18 days & on average I do a load of laundry a day. There's probably 2-4 more loads left until my dryer bar runs out & will need replaced. So, that's about 1/2 of what the package states. Not sure that's it's cost effective for us since it'll need replaced every 3 weeks but it's sure nice to not have to worry about throwing a sheet in every load.
I really did like this item though & I'd recommend anybody to try it out at least once & see how long it works for you & determine the convenience for you.
