Before trying this product I was concerned that it would be real flowery or sweet smelling... over powering; but it isn't at all.
When I first opened the package and handled the product, it felt and smelled like a bar of soap. I attached it inside my dryer, and to my surprise, it stayed where I put it. I did several load of laundry and didn't have to worry about remembering the dryer sheet. Each load of laundry came out smelling fresh and clean, even nicer than the with the dryer sheet. So far I'm really pleased with this simpler "dryer sheet". When I get a chance to see how long it lasts and if it continues to work as well as it gets used, I'll update my review.

The main drawback to this device is that once you decide to use it you hopefully won't change your mind because if you remove the sticky plastic holder from your dryer you will leave some sticky residue behind. Also, if you plan to sell your dryer you lose this as well - but if you're planning to continue using the same dryer this product is perfect for you. It makes drying clothes much more convenient as you don't have to deal with dryer sheets - also saves on waste. Clothes come out smelling just as fresh as with dryer sheets but with less of a hassle. And the dryer bar is advertised as lasting 2 months, but lasted longer for me (and I do a good deal of laundry).Customer Review: Fabulous idea and great execution!

When I got this item I was excited to try it out. It smelled extremely strong when I opened the packaging but was easy to remove and the instructions on installation in the dryer were simple. I thought that it looked like a bar of soap but firmer so it doesn't dissolve as quickly from the heat of the dryer. I have used it on over 10 loads of clothes including sheets and blankets and it works great and I don't have used dryer sheets all over the laundry room floor when my kids do their laundry! It does what it promises and it will be interesting to see if it lasts for two months with my family of five doing laundry. Positive:
-No more forgetting to use fabric softener.
-Your clothes will smell good and feel softer.
Negative:
-The bar puts too much softener into the load. It feels clothes have a film/residue on them at times. This irritated my skin and caused tiny bumps, which sheets do not.
-The adhesive pad on the bar leaves a sticky residue behind inside the dryer, which is a PAIN to clean up.
-Some dryers (including mine) seem to have a problem with the bar coming loose. It fell into the clothes more than once in mine.
-Does not work on static! Nothing like sheets; clothes still have much static and attract hair/lint like a magnet.
Overall it is not worth it, I wouldn't recommend this product. Stick to sheets, mostly because the amount of hair and lint my clothes attract when only using this bar is much greater.

I usually use the sheets. Once a load is done there are these nasty little used up dryer sheets that seem to make their way all over my house. I don't re-use them and are they really garbage or recycling? I put the bounce dryer bar on the "fin" of my dryer based on other peoples reviews and how it falls off of the drum. So far have done three loads and it hasn't moved one bit. Clothes are not overly perfumy and i also use the old fashioned dryer balls which i'm sure have whacked it several times. I hate dryer sheets they really don't even prevent hair from sticking to clothes (dog or otherwise) Dryer balls also come with a perfume stick that is insertable i think i might try that next. Great product thus far, better for the environment and it keeps your dryer smelling nice all the time. got mine at WM, the 2 month was only three dollars, not bad for just trying it!!
