I have just today started using my third Braun 3612. When the blade gets dull, I simply buy a new razor. The blade last me with my beard type about 2 years. I love how fast the razor charges up (less than 2 hours) and a charge last more than a week. I feel bad about not replacing the blade but I can buy a new razor for the price of the blade and foil. My two older razors still work fine; they just have dull blades. The trimmer works well on the back of my neck between hair cuts. I will continue to buy this razor until they stop making it.Customer Review: Nice shave for the money

When evaluating this shaver, I had to take the price into consideration. It's not the most powerful but it gets the job done. It does not feel as sturdy as my 10 year old Braun, but for 30 some dollars - what do you expect? If you have more money to spend, I might suggest going for a dual foil design, but if this is the price range you are in - I recommend this shaver. It's lightweight, and best of all it can be used cordless, or with the cord attached. That means that when the battery inevitabley decides to quit, the shaver is not done.Customer Review: Nice Shaver!

I previously had a Braun and wanted to get another. This is an excellent shaver, and for the price, you can't beat it! It keeps a charge for several days/uses without the need to keep it plugged in. Not sure what the combi shave setting is for. The combi shave setting snaps out the horizontal trimmer that you usually use to trim a moustache or sideburns. How do you do both? Not important for me, I just use them individually. This feature is an added feature that I don't use. All in all its a nice razor and gives a close shave!Customer Review: Seems okay, I guess

I received this shaver about a month ago as a gift. This is the first electric shaver I have owned, so I can't really compare it to any others. The overall shave is okay, but the 3612 does have a few problems. The floating cutter is almost completely useless, as is the trimmer. I use the foil by itself, and it gives a fairly smooth shave, although I have to go over my face several times to achieve this. As i said, overall it seems like a decent shaver, but I can see myself purchasing a sturdier, more powerful model in the future.Customer Review: Good shaves at a good price

I bought this razor when I was stuck without my luggage on a trip. I did not expect much at the price point, but I was plesently surprised at how well it shaves. It turned out to be a great travel shaver. It holds a charge for 5 -6 days of shaves (once a day). However it is not a gentle shaver, used agressivly it can be a bit hard on the skin - but does produce a good close shave. The foil shave trimmer works ok but is a bit awkward.
Overall it gives a nice shave for the price and is a great light weight travel shaver.
