I love this product -- and I thank whomever reviewed it in the past saying it's important to exfoliate the skin in between using... because those ingrowns can be tedious.
To be honest, I've taken to using a standard callous remover for heels and rubbing that over my legs to get rid of excess dead skin, and that seems to do the trick -- for me.
I love this thing. I've used it (and others like it) for several years now, and have found that you can either wait the six weeks to get hairy, or use it every week or two to keep maintenance. Up to you!

The epilator works great and the attached light is very helpful for finding stragglers. The bonus razor attachment is very nice too. My only complaints are that it can really hurt with thick hairs and it causes ingrown hairs where my hair is finer, like on my legs. I got this for my armpits where I always have razor burn from regular shaving. The epalator causes red bumps on my underarms at first, but they go away by the next day... and the hair was gone (for the first time) for 2 weeks. Awesome! Customer Review: Works Great!

For the first time in my life, I don't have to shave my legs every single day. It was very painful to use at first, but I got used to the sensation. And it has been worth it. Now I only have to use it once a week, if that, and shave the occasional stray hair. My shower time has been cut drastically, and in the long run this little guy is gonna save me money on razors and water. I'm so glad I purchased it. I had an old epilady that I got about 10 years ago that I used for my bikini area in between waxes. It wasn't too quick, but got the job done if I couldn't get to the waxing salon. The Braun epilator is amazing! I don't even go to the waxer anymore at all. I have completely replaced those $50+ trips to the salon with a quick, easy home solution. I have been waxing for years, so pain isn't really an issue.
