The replacement parts did make the shaver work like new again and were very easy to install. I avoid the cleaner solution replacement packs as they are a waste of money when you can just get isopropyl alcohol and clean the parts manually. The shaver works fine without incessant cleaning. Just remember, the foil and cutter are not really an option with this shaver; my foil tore apart and rendered the shaver useless (dangerous) until I got the new parts. I've been shaving with the Braun 360 Complete shaver since it was introduced. I've used Braun shavers for many years, and the 360 complete gives me the best shave. Unforunately, the foil wears out in about 2-3 months. I've never had a Braun foil with such a short life. I don't have a heavy beard and I tried using less pressure, but to no avail. I even complained to Braun. If the shave wasn't so good, I would have changed shavers by now.Customer Review: Braun 8000 360 Foil razor

Have used this razor for two years and now have had to replace the foil and blades, which is routine for this time of razor. I find this razor works very well, better than any other model I have used in the past. People seem to be either a rotary or foil user, and I believe this model is worth the price. No electric razor shaves as close as a blade, but this one does a great job. Highly recommended.

my blades were well past their replacement date and i noticed my shaves were not as close as they used to be. however, the replacements don't seem to be any better. further, the first few shaves with the new blades have been pretty painful because of an increased number of "snags". while it was cheaper to replace the blades, i probably should have just sucked it up and bought a whole new razor.Customer Review: Money well spent

I recently purchased the complete foil & cutter block for my braun 8995 razor. Braun 8000 360 Complete Foil and Cutter Block for Models 8995, 8985 and 8975 I must say it performs as advertised. It's as though I were shaving with a new razor again. I believe it is money well spent.
