This replacement head made a huge difference in the quality of my husband's shave. He had put off replacing it, thinking it probably wouldn't make that big of a difference. Boy, was he wrong. I opted for the "older" style foil and cutter block, based upon reviewes that the newer version was somewhat rough on the skin. This version is great, very smooth. It's like I have a new razor. It's hard to find replacement heads for this particular model of BRAUN razor. You have to look very closely at the model numbers. Most stores carry another replacement model. This was the only place I could find what I needed. THANKS!Customer Review: Like a new razor

My shaves were not close after 12 months usage of my new razor. Braun recommends replacing the foil and cutting block after 18 months but I have a very tough beard so I decided to replace those items early. The razor is like new again.
