I have been using this product for over 20 years although it is getting harder to find. I love using the braun curling iron as it is the only curling iron that works for me, and I love being able to take it with me due to the convience of using the fuel cartridges. My only complaint is on a small price item they charge an excessive amount for shipping. I just received an order of six 2-pack cartridges in a small two pound box and they charged me over 14.00 for shipping. This is almost half of what the item cost to begin with.Customer Review: Hot News!

I purchased Energy Cells for my Braun Cordless Curling Iron. I have had the curling iron a number of years, but I could not find the replacement Energy Cells. I have found I can buy just about anything from Amazon.com, so I logged on and sure enough they had a source. Was so happy to find these Braun energy cells (unavailable at any retail stores, it seems).
Unfortunately, the box of two I received contained one cell that was completely depleted of
Butane fluid. I think the shelf life expired, and it somehow evaporates. So I spent about
9.00 for one usable cell...pretty disappointing.

I have a braun cordless curling iron in our 5th wheel travel trailer. These are the energy cells that fuel the curling iron. I have had this curling iron about 4 years and have used 2 cells. I ordered these and they will probably last me the next 4 years. The curling iron is great, it heats up fast and is easy to use.Customer Review: Braun Energy Cell

Works great. No cords to deal with when using a cordless hair curling iron. Braun works the best of all. Not sure how this will impact the airlines. Used to pack in my checked luggage, but will now have to check new guidelines. Maybe Braun can answer? Best feature -- you can use it anywhere.
