I don't know what kind of battery they put in this thing but it can easily last two weeks without recharging.
And when it does not be recharged it recharges in a jiffy! Now, I don't save every day but still I have never
owned a shaver where the battery last like this one.
Shaves great too. The con I can think of is that its a bit loud but other than that you can't beat this
especially at this price! I have always owned Braun shavers and there have another winner here.

Have only been using the shaver for about a month but I like it very much. Seems to keep a charge for quite awhile and recharges in a very short period of time. Also like the ability to use as a corded shaver should the charge be used up. I do not have a very thick beard and therefore may not be the best to evaluate it's effectiveness in removing stubble but for me it works very well. In short I am glad I purchased this shaver and would recommend it to others.Customer Review: A very cost effective electric shaver

Since I have previously owned a Braun 1775 Free Control shaver, I am a "repeat" customer. This says that I am a happy, satisfied customer of this product. I had read a review a few years back in Consumers Report magazine and this shaver had an excellent rating. Yes, it is a basic electric shaver - but it does the job and does it superbly; shaves close, easy to clean in running water (I suggets warm or hot water), and it has an excellent price point. Does it shave as close as a safety razor? No, but no electric shaver does (don't believe all the claims you hear). But it comes close. The more expensive Braun shavers have double heads to shave a bit faster, but I do not know if you will get a closer shave than the budgeted 1775 Braun. This shaver is a good starting point if you have never tried a Braun shaver over the "rotary" type. Try it; you'll like it!Customer Review: Third time I have bought this model.

This is a solid choice. A new screen and cutter blade for this razor costs about $7 less than a new razor. Duh! I have 3 now. All work perfect except the first 2 have dull cutter blades and worn out screens. Don't know how many years I have been using this model. Probably at least 5. I have a tough beard. Enough said?
