this makes me happy. my dentist told me to get one. it works as advertised. i like to brush my teeth and i even floss now since i don't have to do the back and forth with an old fashioned toothbrush. the 2 minute timer gives me some sense of accomplishment.Customer Review: No "bells and whistles," but it does the job!

I bought this Oral-B toothbrush to replace one that died after more than a decade. I chose this model because it costs about one-third to one-half as much as most of the current Oral-B models, and because it has the "old" controls: separate buttons to turn it on and off. The newer, more expensive models use a single-button setup that cycles through four settings - high, medium, low and off - which is a hassle IMHO. Also, the single button is placed where it is easy to depress by accident. The old arrangement, which is used on this model, is better. Some reviewers say that it is less powerful than the ones of yesteryear, but it seems fine to me. I just hope it lasts as long as my old one!Customer Review: Good deal for the price

This is my second one as the other one crapped out after a few years. Although it appears to have lasted longer for others, its still a good deal and do recommend to family and friends.
