This is our first digital ear thermometer and the only question that comes to mind is why didn't we get one sooner? The directions are very understandable and we were able to use the thermometer right away. Compared to taking your temperature with the old style thermometers, this is a breeze. It literally takes a couple of seconds to take your temperature. The only concern that we have is how difficult it is going to be to get new tips. It probably would be a good idea to buy an additional supply early on so you don't have to hunt for them when you need to use the thermometer. Also, the digital screen is very readable.Customer Review: on time - as expected

I was purchasing the Thermoscan Thermometer for a medical mission trip to Honduras. I ordered it about a week before departure and it made it on time, even a couple days early. The product worked perfectly and helped the medical team deliver health care fast and efficiently in the remote areas of Honduras...fast ...effieciently...and on time...as I expected.

I have just purchased the thermometer. I bought this due to the fact that regular thermometers take too much time and are difficult to read. I tested it, and it appeared to work just fine. The time required was very short, as compared with a regular thermometer, and the reading appeared to be correct as compared with a regular thermometer. i figured this would be a good thermometer because my pediatrician's office uses this brand as well. it is definitely easier to take a baby's or child's temperature this way than rectal or oral (obviously not for a baby), but it makes me wonder why the readings fluctuate. by fluctuate, i don't mean that one reading is 0.1 degree warmer/colder than the other, but up to 1.5 degrees! so, i don't know if that is just an error in my particular thermometer, but... other than that, it's an ok thermometer.
