I purchased two of these for gifts and both recepients felt the product was accurate and said it gave them a chance to "wait awhile" before getting behind the wheel when "close." Why not allow someone to gauge for sure whether they should drive or not?! After a drink or two it's hard to know with 100% certainty. A great and easy to use compact tool.Customer Review: breathkey

I purchasd this breathkey and gave to my friend who drinks and drives. I have always worried about his driving with his children and anyone else on the road. He blew a .18, which is over double the legal limit to drive. It has been a few months now and he has done much better about driving drunk. I have always wondered what a BAC of 0.08 was for me. I am not a heavy drinker but the only other way to find out that I know of is through our legal system and I have no intention of using that path.
After receiving my BreathKey, I did a few experiments and discovered that 0.08 is way lower than I thought!

Many reviews of these FST say that the readings were varied. As a cop myself, many people do not know that you must wait 20 minutes from your last sip or drink to get an accurate reading. So keep that in mind when buying this product. For the most part, a majority of these FST's are accurate, if you use them correctly.Customer Review: It would be smarter to ask a cop to breathalyze you before you drive than to trust this toy

After you drink enough to need this breathalyzer, make an educated guess as to what your BAC is, and that guess will be more accurate than what this breathalyzer shows. Although, this breathalyzer would serve as a great toy/game to distract and keep busy your drunk guests until they sober up.
