I've been battling with razor bumps ever since I started shaving in boot camp when I was 18. I tried this product way back then and it worked moderately well but there were things about it that I didn't like. For one, the stuff absolutely stinks. They try to cover up the scent with perfume but it doesn't matter; it still smells vaguely of vinegar. You may think that a "vague" scent of something isn't a big deal but if you've ever walked up on someone who recently finished a pickle or some salt & vinegar chips then you can't deny that even the hint of vinegar is not pleasant, so imagine how much worse it is when your face smells like that. Secondly, when it dries it leaves a film over your skin that is sometimes visible depending on your skin tone or the humidity. Heat and humidity also make the smell more noticeable. I eventually got laser hair removal and it was a God-send. However, it was only semi-permanent; 2 years later my facial hair started to slowly but surely grow back. So now I'm back at square one with razor bumps. I saw this product in Wal-Mart and notice the new packaging. I hoped that the formula had been improved while taking care of all the things I didn't like about it before. Unfortunately, that is not the case. It's in a pretty new package but it's exactly the same. So, if you don't mind spreading a viscous, blue liquid all over your face that makes you smell like vinaigrette, then you may not mind this product as much as I did and still do.
