I have always had breakout prone skin. Starting around the time I hit puberty my skin got really bad and my parents ended up spending thousands on dermtologists and skin products for me. All of which might I say just dried my skin out and made it worse. Over the last 25 years I have searched endlessly for a product that works, without overdrying or making my skin's oil glands overactive. There was Pro Activ, Cetaphil, Nutrogena, and countless others. But this product is by far the best I've come EVER!!!!!!!! It's all natural so it makes you feel good about putting on your skin. The soap rinses off easily and doesn't overdry. It also has a light refreshing scent! If you have the soap..you HAVE to get the toner. You can't have one without the other. The toner feel so cool when you put it on and it has the same nice smell as the saop. I'm not going to say that after using it my face NEVER broke out...because that wouldn't be true. But getting one or two small breakouts compared to volcanos erupting on my face, in my book is a HUGE imporvement! Please try this...You won't regret Review: Finally a reprieve from oily skinSummary: 5 Stars I have to say the first couple days I was a bit disappointed with the soap. I noticed the eruption of a lot of tiny red pimples, which made me worry that I had just wasted more money hoping for a cure. What I did immediately notice was that it got rid of the oiliness on my face. I have severely oily skin and within a couple hours after showering, my forehead is completely shiny. With this soap, the shininess was gone, all day. I decided that I would be patient and try it a little longer. I have used it about a week and I have noticed an improvement. My pores are smaller, I have fewer pimples, the oil is gone, and my skin feels softer. I had awhile back used Tretinoin and as a result developed bad rosacea on my cheeks. Every other protect I used just aggravated my skin and caused a lot of other problems. If you have problem oily skin, I'd say give the soap two weeks, and see if it can do the same for you. If your skin is really bad, you probably won't see an overnight effect. Also, I'd recommend using the tomato toner in conjunction.

i have always struggled with acne and especially during that special time of month when everything happens to irritate my skin! but i bought the soap seeing how many good reviews it was getting plus im a burts&bees fan as of olay too. Ever since i have been using this soap i have noticed that i dont break out anymore, and this moth when i had my lovely "aunt Flo" i had not one single break out nor anything had irritated my face. it had cleared my complexion up but it does leave my skin feeling squeeky clean, but its also a little drying on my face but nothing that a good face lotion cant fix. not to mention the smell of the soap is yummy :D
i am happy with the results of this soap and will continue to use it, since it has done a great in helping me control my acne, i haven't gotten a break out since i used it, maybe like a pimple or so but is goes away fast with the garden tomato toner

I have had acne prone skin ever since my teen years. This is by far the only product that has successfully cleared my skin the fastest, and left my skin feeling smooth and my complexion impeccable! In retrospect, I should have taken before and after pictures to show how amazing this product has worked! I use this soap and then use the Burts Bees Garden Tomato Toner, with a little dab of the Burts Bees Marshmallow Vanishing Cream. Additionally, once a week I use the Burts Bees Pore Refining Mask with French Green Clay. Although this is my personal regimen, and might I add a semi-complex one, I have found it to work wonders and my skin hasn't looked better since. In addition, I found that all my scars on my face have either disappeared or minimized significantly too; it's amazing! I highly recommend all the aforementioned products to anyone with oily, acne-prone skin. :)Customer Review: Wow! :)

I have very oily skin (five minutes out of the shower, and my face would already be shiny), and have searched long and hard for a product that would help my complexion. I tried Proactiv, Acne Free, and a barrage of other treatments, but it wasn't until I discovered Burt's Bees that I found any respite. I've been using this soap for about a week now, twice a day - morning and night - and it's been GREAT!!! I won't lie and say that it has given me a 100% matte complexion, but my skin is definitely far less oily than before. And, I have had some minor breakouts, but that's to be expected when you switch products. In any case, I loved the soap so much that I ordered the toner the very next day. :) The soap itself is great - it gives your skin a nice, clean feeling, and smells fresh. A 10 star product, for sure!
