The peanut butter ones were a victim of the 'peanut butter' recall. We had already eaten some without ill effect, but Cliff was nice enough to hook us up with coupons for the remainder. Peanut butter was, alas, my favorite flavor. The Chocolate brownie ones were very chocalatey, while the chocalte chip strike a balance. All are coated with a string of chocolate, making them a little messy in small, warm hands.
The smaller size of these bars make them a great alternative to other 'energy bars' for kids and adults alike. The price also makes them much cheaper than more standard bars. (And they are a much better alternative than candy bars, at a similar price point.)

We liked these bars so much, we actually subscribed to have one box delivered to us every month.
As the writing on the box reads, you get 3 flavors. The bars are just about the right size - not too small but small enough for the kids to get 2 of them in one day, if they qualify. I sometime take a bar myself, after exercising or, sometimes, in the morning, instead of breakfast.
To summarize:
- the size is right
- taste is great
- kids love it
- the price seems to be right
- with 48 bars in one box, a monthly subscription made sense to me (get 15% off if you subscribe)

I can't keep enough of these bars around! They taste great and they are good for you. I pack them in my husband's lunch and he swears they give him a huge energy boost to get through his day after lunch. My three kids have all got a favorite flavor and try to hide them throughout the cupboard from each other. I bought a box for my niece. Her dad says the only problem is that she asks for one every 15 minutes and she gets mad at him for snacking on "her" stuff ;)They are awesome and don't even compare to the crap cereal bars in the grocery store, not to mention the price is great. I have tried one healthy snack after another for my kids. Organic fruit snacks, soy nuts -- you name it we tried it. They wouldn't eat any of it. When I saw these and I read the reviews, I knew I had to try it. All of my kids (6, 8 and 12) love them and even my ever-picky husband will grab one every so often. I eat them in the morning on occasion when I don't have time to grab breakfast. They're great. We ordered 48 bars and I thought it would last us a month. It didn't. It lasted about two and a half weeks and I had to order more. If you have picky kids and you want them to eat healthy, I highly recommend these.Customer Review: An afterschool saver!

These bars are great for kids. My son used to come home from school "starving" and need to eat almost a full meal before he felt better. Yes, I asked him if he ate (may have been school lunch or a home packed lunch) and he was always hungry afterschool.
Enter Clif Kid bars!
I put one in his backpack when he had a snack attack or he ate if as he was waiting to be picked up. He no longer needs a "meal" afterschool and eats his dinner at the appropriate time of day. He loves all three flavors, but the brownie is his most preferred.
