I bought these for my 6 and 8 year old to take to school for snacks. Yes, they are quite a bit more expensive than, say, a Quaker granola bar, but you get what you pay for. These bars taste great (so say the 6 yo, 8yo, their 2yo brother, Dad, and Mom). But more importantly there are no high fructose corn syrups, no trans fats, they've got a nice bit of fiber (3g), a decent amount of protein (3g) and not too much sugar (11g). At 1.27 ounces, they are substantial without being so filling that a meal is ruined. I will buy again and again.Customer Review: My daughters' favorite!

Of all the snack/energy bars we "test," my girls keep coming back for z bars. They're tasty enough for them to think they're getting a sweet treat, and the organic whole grains leave them feeling truly satisfied and ready to go again. They're handy to toss in their lunch bags, or when we're on the go during the day; add a glass of milk, and it's practically a meal (Okay, not really, but it sure takes the edge off before dinnertime)! Perfect size for children (and moms, too), good flavor, no preservatives or HFCS; who could ask for more?Customer Review: 5 Stars
My daughters (ages 2 and 4) love these things and literally eat 1 or 2 a day--my youngest started eating them when she got her first teeth and has been addicted since. They are the perfect snack for active toddlers and kids. I love that they ask for a "cookie bar" and are talking about something loaded with fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. A small word of caution, the chocolate brownie bar is a bit messier than the others for younger eaters--think chocolate drool on white and pastel pinks and blues, but they are all delicious!!!Customer Review: Great snack at any time of day

I've been buying the Clif Kid Zbars for a while now, and I never tire of them. They make a great breakfast on the go, a mid-morning snack, and taste great with that afternoon cup of coffee. My kids love them, and the variety pack ensures that you won't get tired of the same flavor. (My favorite is the chocolate brownie, and my son likes peanut butter best. It all works out.) They are relatively low in calories and have nutritional value. While on vacation, I kept these in my purse for snacks on the go. these are good healthy bars for children or adults. my 18 month old daughter likes these and it is pretty easy to get her to eat at least part of one while calling it a "cookie" and with a bonus of her getting great nutritional value. my husband and I also really like these because they satisfy a sweet craving without being too sweet and are good nutritionally and unlike many other of these types of bars, are not over the top on calories (each has around 120 calories) which makes it just right as a snack but avoids you loading up.
