Customer Reviews of CLR Power Plumber Pressurized Drain Opener Plunger Kit, 4.5-Ounce Can

Customer Review: Best drain opener ever
Summary: 5 Stars

We had a very slow tub drain in our bathroom and tried everything to clear it up -- chemicals, natural concoctions, plungers, you name it. After reading the reviews on this product, we bought one to try it and it was incredible. Three shots of pressurized gas is all it took to make our tub drain free running. I highly recommend it. Just make sure you plug up any overflow drains or you'll have disgusting pipe residue all over your tub and walls.

Customer Review: Works Like a Plunger on Roids
Summary: 3 Stars

This basically is a POWER plunger...it will attempt to dislodge any clog you have and send it further down the pipe. While this might be ok for TP and waste, a hair clog just moves to a new bend in the pipe and gets stuck there. The force is so powerful it blew my pipe right off the tub--so I ended up having to call a plumber anyway.

I can see the benefit on this product for monthly maintenance, but not on specific, stubborn clogs.

I tried this product at first and got not much of any improvement.

I found out later tho tht rather than just covering the overflow with a damp cloth it would be more effective to unscrew the cover for the overflow an put the cloth directly in it to clog it. BINGO i went from standin in like a foot of water when i shower to an empty bathtub....this is an amazing product

Customer Review: Wow! Really works!!

I tried just about everything on a very clogged slow-running tub drain that my daughter had gummed up with hair, soap, shampoo, and hair coloring in her bathroom. I used Drano, enzyme stuff, you name it. I shot this down the drain (after stopping the tub overflow and the bath sink drain) and it was running great within seconds. Wow! Now I can get the kid out of my bathroom!

Customer Review: Amazing!

Have a slow drain in stall shower. Used liquid plumber for years followed by getting plumber to snake line every so often. The drain was getting so slow that I left plunger in the shower and would plunge routinely to prevent lots of standing water. Purchased this thing and it worked like a charm. Can't believe my plumber didn't use this thing... the best invention!
