Customer Review: Cooling down a too-large stove

I'd seen these for a while, but thought them way too expensive for what they offer. Having put in a big stove in a small area, I wanted a way to move some of the heat around the rest of the room and adjoining hallway. I tried a small ac fan but it blew cool air which wasn't what I wanted.
This fan works well right out of the box, and the way it picks up speed as the stove heats is great. You don't have to bother with turning it off, it doesn't give an unpleasant draft even when right in front of it and it is totally quiet. It does slightly hinder feeding the stove from above, but overall it's a great addition. It makes the room in front of the stove much more comfortable, and the heat is spread out more evenly: just what the manufacturer claims...

This fan is great! Used it in a cabin with no power and use it everyday in our house. The cabin has vaulted cielings and it moves the hot air around enough to make it very comfortable. In the house, my wife can really feel the difference out in the kitchen away from the wood stove at the other end of the house. When I took it to the cabin, she really missed the having that at the house. It seems hard to feel it blowing, but it really is. Take it away and you notice the difference right away. Like others have said, the speed shows what is going on in the stove. Cannot say enough good about this product. A little pricey, but worth it.Customer Review: Can't live without this Fan!!!

I have an older moblehome that has very bad windows and age on it's side.I think I would freeze if it was not for my wood stove which I keep going all the winter months,but the way the heat travles is with this little fan which sends the heat out a long ways. I gave my old fan to someone for Xmas and found out the hard way that was a bad mistake. I shall not do that again.So I now have a new fan which seems to be hard to find and not in stores. Received this fan, a little disappointed because I was expecting by the looks of the picture for it to be larger. It is only about 10 inches tall. It is powered by a thermoelectric module which requires more attention to temperature, which I also wasn't expecting to be an issue.
All in all The fan does work. I don't notice it making a difference in a room 25'x15', but may work better in a smaller room.

Received the fan in a timely order and well packed. Fan was much smaller than I expected and as result I feel moves less air around then anticipated. Seems very fragile...if it ever got accidently knocked over I think that would be the end of the fan blades. It works and the concept of free energy is the only real thing keeping me happy about it, but it'll that years to pay for...oh well lesson learned.
