This fan is great. It is small and discreet but really circulates the air. It also doesn't make ANY noise unlike the blower on the wood stove. We use it as an indicator for when to put another log on the fire, too. When the fan slows down-time for more wood! I highly recommend the Caframo Ecofan for its ability to push warm air that is rising from a woodstove efficiently into a room. Our family room is much warmer during our very cold days and nights in New England due to the non-stop Ecofan that we have sitting on our woodstove. The Ecofan does everything it promised. It starts/keeps working with even the smallest amount of heat being generated- and it looks great. During this time of year, our stove is pretty much going non-stop - and the fan is too. The ecofan is fun to watch. I knew before I bought that it would barely blow any air around the room, but I wanted it anyway. My stirling cycle fan requires a push to get it started and doesn't blow much air either, but the ecofan starts on it's own. I'm glad that I have this toy.Customer Review: Woodstove Fan

I love this fan - it makes my living area warm up much faster than before I got the fan. The fan directs the warmth from my wood stove directly into the lower areas my log cabin, rather than letting the hot air rise into the high ceiling. It was worth every penny.
