A relatively expensive lotion, but provides a better experience than I've had before with these types of products. Just to be brief, the "tan" looks natural and healthy, the tanner smell is faint (and masked VERY well by a subtle but effective "orange julius" aroma), and the color lasts for a few days. I have only seen one or two spots of streaking/uneven color in my history of its use: apply in small doses and repeat until tan is achieved and this typical problem is all but avoided.
Unless I find a self-tanner that works as well without the tell-tale tanner smell AND is cheaper, this will be my go-to brand.
Description of California North Titanium Self Tanner-8 oz
Titanium Self-Tanner is one of the best selling sunless Tanners available. Will not streak. Applied twice the first day about 3-4 hours apart, maintained every 3rd or 2nd day. Tanning appears in about 4 hours. It is for facial skin and full body. It is approved for women who are pregnant. The active ingredient reacts with your skin to produce a natural light tan. This will not stain clothing or sheets. It is NOT a carotene orange colorant used in bronzers and other tanners, which do not look at all natural.
This product is moisturizing, contains SPF 7 sunscreen, smells great, and was picked by models from NY to FL as their choice, after which it was featured on the Today Show with Maria Shriver. It has SPF 7 sunscreen and a very light citrus botanical combination scent.
