I used my cast protector twice before the rubber inside the ring tore. The vinyl protector is well made but the rubber gasket is too fragile and the hole for the leg is too small! I have small legs but was still uncomfortable with the cast protector on. I had to rush my shower so that I could remove the cover.
I have had a DVT in the past and honestly was afraid that circulation would be impeded if I left the protector in place.
