I am recovering from a couple of surgeries that have also required my re-learning how to walk. I graduated from wheelchair & walker to a quad cane, and now to a single-point cane. The quad cane could be convenient because it could stand on its own. I've already learned that, in restaurants, church, etc., the single point cane loves to fall on the floor. I am delighted with my black model of this cane because I can simply fold it in my lap if I wish. I weigh a little over 200 lb. and have noticed no flimsiness whatsoever. Plus, it's great for folding and storing in the car. I think it's a great value, as I've seen other brands of this cane type selling for many times more. Nothing fancy here, just discreet and it works!
