I received this sweeper and upon first use noticed a u-shaped piece of wire lying on my carpet. Upon further inspection noticed that it was a support for the roller brush. Tried for about 1/2 hour to get it back into place with no luck. Called the company who apoligized and quickly stated that they would just send me a new one. I felt relieved that I would not have to pay any return postage, etc. The problem is .. I made that call about a month ago. I did receive an e-mail stating that the sweeper was on backorder but the e-mail had no expected date of delivery. To this date I have not received the new sweeper so I am disapointed that I am out the money I've already paid and have a broken sweeper.Customer Review: Love this product

I bought this for my mom b/c she is unable to run a vacuum cleaner. She can use this in between vacuuming, it wasn't too heavy for her to push. I tried it on my rug first, b/c one reviewer said it wouldn't pick up animal hair. I have a long haired cat, fine hair floats in the air! It picked up hair I did not even see- I had used a sticky sheet on my rug that morning, and just ran the sweeper over it a couple times fast, and I was amazed at what all it picked up! Including cat hair I did not even see. I didn't think it was all that well built, seems pretty simple to cost this much, but it does work, & maybe the others are flimsier.Customer Review: Light--One Way sweeper--Not efficient

This is a good looking sweeper. However, it sweeps only on forward direction since it has one brush. We used Bissel dual brush sweeper few months ago. We loved it but it was little heavier and its handle used to come out easily.
Me & my wife feel this(casabella sweeper) is light but is NOT as efficient and sturdy as it should have been. The dirt which is picked up by the sweeper tends to fall down if you move the sweeper little upwards and move it little rigorously while sweeping. So ultimately cannot do a fast & quick sweep. The price is little too high for this quality.

I bought this carpet sweeper to pick up the aspen shaving pieces my guinea pigs would get on the floor when they raced about in their enclosure. As I sat on the floor picking up all the pieces with my fingers every day I thought, "There must be some sort of device to pick this up for me that's quieter and more convenient than dragging out my vaccuum." It's super easy to put together and it's light. Best of all, it works! I only have to slide the sweeper across the floor and the bits and pieces are picked up, saving me time and frustration. Great deal for a decent price.Customer Review: Much better than expected

Got this in order to avoid lugging the vaccuum cleaner upstairs. Don't expect it to pick up much dust, but it is very good at picking up small debris on carpets, as long as they are not too close to the wall. This is expected of all such sweepers, since you can't get enough room for the bristles to move if you are close to the wall.
Overall I was impressed. It replaced my totally worthless small upright vaccuum cleaner (Shark) which had cost me 55$.
