Customer Reviews of Cascade 2-in-1 Action Pacs Dishwasher Detergent, Original Scent, 32-Count Bags (Pack of 5)Customer Review: Confused Summary: 1 StarsI recently bought a new home, and a brand new- expensive- dishwasher. I bought these cascade tablets to try. Popped one in, worked fine. But subsequently I have had no such luck. I keep popping them in and they aren't dissolving at all! What is going on? I'd rather mess with the powder. This is ridiculous.
Customer Review: incredibly disgusting Summary: 1 StarsMaybe it's just that our dishwasher at work is a smaller-than-fullsize unit. But dishes that come out of it after being washed with this product *stink*. They are completely saturated with the noxious scent included in the tablets. So much so that I find myself re-washing every dish that comes out. Just this morning I tried to eat some oatmeal from a freshly-washed mug and found my eyes were actually watering from the emitted scent -- that's how strong it is.
Cool packaging, but really, really gross results. Avoid!
Customer Review: Convenient Clean Summary: 4 StarsI love these little pacs because they mean that I don't have to measure out dishwashing soap and I can tell at a glance when I need to buy more--so no more running out! They would also make it simple to have a child be in charge of dishes since no measuring is required.
I have had no problems getting the pacs to dissolve and they clean my dishes just as well as other options. I especially like the scent of them--some of the other brands smell more chemical-y. Both this scent and the citrus scent are appealing.
Make sure that you close the bag all the way after retrieving one of these though--or the remainder will dry out and become unusable.
Customer Review: Not too keen on these... Summary: 2 StarsThe BEST part of this product is the convenience. Just rip open a pouch, toss it in, and voila! You're done! However, they just don't get my dishes clean at all. I open my dishwasher after a powerscrub cycle, and the "stuff" all over the dishes is amazing. Even after prewashing, they just look disgusting, they're all streaky, just plain gross. I use the Electrasol version of these and just LOVE those! Plus, they're cheaper and get the dishes so much cleaner. I have a top-of-the-line Kitchenaid dishwasher too - not a cheapie, so why I'm having so much trouble with these Cascade tablets I have no idea. The liquid doesn't work either but both Electrasol and Palmolive do. Oh well. I guess if you like Cascade and it works for you in your dishwasher, then buy these too. But if you have problems like mine, I'd suggest Electrasol or Palmolive.
Customer Review: These are the Best Summary: 5 StarsI love this product. They work so much better than powder or gel. Very happy.
