Customer Review: This stuff really DOES work!

I am a 32 year old female who has always had a moderate underarm sweating problem. Meaning, I didn't have sweat dripping down my sides, but I did have an issue with sweat stains, wet pits, and the horrendous "white ring under the arm" for the excessive application of traditional deodorants such as Secret, etc. I tried every OTC product under the sun and nothing seemed to work! I still had wet spots under my arms and could never wear anything white (stains would develop after a few wearings) or anything that fit tightly around the underarm area (deodorant ring and/or wet spots!)
After browing the deodorant aisle at Meijer (I live in the Midwest) I noticed Certain Dry, which claimed to be the strongest anti-perspirant you could buy without a prescription. It was a bit pricier and seemed a bit more fussy than my normal deodorant, but I was game. Well...it was the best thing I ever did! I have only been using it for a week and have yet to have ANY wetness under my arms! And since I never really had too much of an issue in the stink department, I have no need to wear a deodorant. AND...since you apply this stuff at night and it is not your standard issue, chalky, pasty, messy white stuff, it DOES NOT LEAVE ANY WHITE RING ON YOUR CLOTHES. This is a godsend...I only wish I had found it sooner. It's amazing how self-concsious I really was (without really realizing it until now) and how much I had to monitor my clothing types/styles. NO MORE! I am finally free! I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has an issue with underarm sweating.
I do use it every day and haven't experimented with using it less frequently yet. I will try that next week and see if I can maybe change it to every other or every third day. Even if I had to use it every day, I wouldn't complain! At least this stuff actually works and is not a waste of time, money, and good clothes like those other jokes of "anti-perspirants".
OH...I should also mention that aside from the one time I applied it straight away after shaving (OUCH!) I have had no discomfort aside from a VERY minor stinging. Trust me, it lasts like 20 seconds and is nothing my grandmother couldn't handle. That is my personal experience...I am sure it's different for everyone. Just follow the directions and don't apply too much of it, or apply it to broken/irritated skin until you know how you handle this stuff. Happy (not) sweating!

Im a 19 yr old guy and have suffered from mild perspiration for about 2-3 years now when my social anxiety started kicking in.You are probably thinking I sweat a lot from the underarms as most people do that use this product and think its embarrasing to sweat from the underarms.Well think again.I sweat excessively from a part of the body thats even more embarrasing to sweat from in public,..the face.Sometimes when Im out and about I start to sweat a lot from the face depending on the situation.Per say,if Im at a store thats really packed and Im waiting in a long line my anxiety starts to kick in and I sweat,..a lot.I also get really anxious eating in front of others and may start to sweat uncontrollably sometimes while eating there.I go to college and there have been times where I would start to sweat uncontrollably from the face due to my social anxiety.I really hated all this so somehow I looked up on the internet to see if there was anything to stop the facial sweating and to my luck I found this.Wish I could've found this a couple years ago when this all started.
What I have to say about this product-
Pros:Works really good by closing/shrinking the sweat pores and letting very little to no sweat out.Also helps to restore your confidence if you didn't have any due to your sweating problems;)
Cons:Some say it didn't work for them,so what works for me might not work for you.It might itch or burn where you put it on since your skin is not used to it.But after a couple of times(2-3 weeks) after using it you won't/shouldn't feel any more itching or that burning sensation after putting it on.Also give it at least a week before you give up on this miracle product.
My final thought on this product-
It really worked for me and has helped me a lot.I can now go out in public and have faith in this product that it will work and has worked so far.It might fail sometimes to stop all the sweating from escaping and I might sweat just a little but its not noticeable.My face might feel hot when the sweat wants to come out but somehow little to no sweat comes out.I feel so confident now to go out in public and know that I will not embarrass myself.If you think sweating in the underarms is bad,think again,..its not as bad as having rivers of sweat pouring down your face,especially in public.Thanks Certain-Dri:)

I am a 14 year old girl, and ever since I hit puberty, I began to sweat like you wouldn't believe. At first I thought it was normal, but then I realized that it wasn't, that people (for the most part) don't sweat like that.
I couldn't wear anything form fitting or stylish. If I did, the sweat rings would be even MORE visible. I was reduced to wearing loose baggy shirts, or hiding myself completely, under sweaters and jackets. There was nothing else I could do.
It wasn't just a little bit of underarm moisture, either. I would get dressed for school, head downstairs for breakfast, and the perspiration had already begun! At school, even in an air conditioned classroom, I would perspire constantly and incessantly, for no reason at all. I couldn't raise my hand either; I had to keep my arms plastered against my sides so no one would see the massive perspiration rings, which were getting bigger by the minute. I worried constantly about it; the question was always on my mind, "How bad is it now?".
Temperature and emotions weren't the cause, either. I could be perfectly relaxed on a cool autumn day; sitting here at the computer surfing the net, or standing in the snow on a cold winter's day. Yet, in all three cases, I'd be sweating like it was 100 degrees outside.
I tried every "anti-perspirant" under the sun, NOTHING worked. Lady Speed Stick, Secret, Dove, Mitchum, Arm and Hammer, Arrid; you name it, I've tried it. And none of them, I repeat, NONE of them worked. It was hopeless.
I was so embarassed to do normal things; hug someone, raise my hand in class, come to school without a jacket. I thought I'd be stuck with this humiliating problem forever. Then I found Certain Dri.
I cam across this website, and after reading people's success stories, I was ready to try it myself. I was a bit skeptical, but I was hopeful. I put some on that night, and the next day I went to school and waited to see the floods of perspiration. They never came. I went the WHOLE DAY with pits as dry as the Sahara Desert. Now, I'm not afraid to raise my hand in class, to wear stylish shirts, to hug my friends, or to come to school with no jacket or sweater. My humiliating problem is over now. And its all thanks to Certain Dri.
If you've suffered embarassing perspiration like I did, give Certain Dri a shot. You won't regret it.

I am a 13 year old girl who has had the 'excessive sweat' problem for about 2 years---and if you're a teenage girl, you know that it is the most embarrassing thing EVER! I stained my white shirts, 5 to be exact within two times wearing each of them. One of those 5 shirts was by Juicy Couture and cost me about 60 bucks. But that is a different story....
Anyway, when June came around (of this year) I knew I had to do something about my problem. I had tried just about EVERY deoderant there is. But I saw 2 written up in my favorite magazine: a Secret one, and Certain Dri. I tried the Secret one first, thinking that there was NO WAY that my problem needed a deoderant that seemed so official. Well, the Secret deoderant worked (or so I thought) pretty well, and I used it up until now, November 24. I knew it wasn't working when I went to a party (although it was VERY hot in there), and I went to the bathroom to find large sweat rings underneath my armpits. Foolishly, I talked myself out of it, and blamed my newly sweat-stained shirt on the heat of the home--not the extent of my sweat problem. The next week, I went to school with a very cute shirt on. It is purple satiny material, and it is short-sleeved. But for whatever reason, I once again found sweat stains! I had to wear my jacket the ENTIRE day to cover up my armpits. But my foolishness continued, and I had yet to address and do something about my problem once again. So, just 2 nights ago, I went to a party at a friend's house, and once again, I found myself wet and smelly. MORE sweat! That was the wake-up call that actually worked. The next day, I went grocery shopping with my mom. I told her I had to get something, so I went off to find Certain Dri on my own. In all my shame and embarrassment, I handed my mother the deoderant. She just told me that she, too, had the problem when she was my age, and tossed it into the cart (what a great mom!).
I have been using Certain Dri for 2 days now, and so far it has worked very well. I still find myself a little stinky, but that is no big deal--I'll simply use a regular deoderant for that. I have yet to have had any problems, other than a minimal itchiness once applied, which I'll get used to.
Bottom line, get Certain Dri. It changes lives for the better, just check out all the other reviews.

The short of this review : this stuff works.
The long of this review: I started sweating more once i became pregnant, i thought it would go away once i lost the pregnancy weight - but it didn't. i am 25 and a overweight. i don't suffer from horrible sweating, but enough that i get large and noticeable pit stains on many of my shirts - enough that i'm really self conscious.
i tried secret clinical strength, it did nothing bit smell alot.
so i started to research, looking for something that would help without having to go to the dr. i found certain dry and all these reviews here and elsewhere - i was nervous, as some reviews mentioned rashes, and the product not working. but i wanted to try it.
day one: put on at night, after having a shower probably 2 hours before. went straight to bed. there was definitely a noticeable sting? itch? to it, but not enough to bother me enough to matter. i slept.
in the morning, i used certain dry am - nice, very light scent to it. i wore dark clothes, so i don't know for sure if i was sweaty, i felt a bit damp thought the day, not as much as usual though... but when i changed tonight, i could tell there was *no* scent on my clothes, nothing stinky, nothing perfume-y.. just nothing
second night, no shower or shaving before hand (apparently will aggravate the itching) and it's been on my underarms for about half an hour. for the first ten minutes - nothing. then slowly, an itch, a sting, i dunno.. a feeling that made me twitchy for wanting to make it stop, not horrible, but _noticeable_.
it's still sorta there, but not as bad... if it works, it's worth it, if it doesn't work, well.. that sucks...
Second morning. One underarm is red, owie. put some lotion on, after that dried put on certain dri AM, and after that dried, baby powder, to reduce chaffing of the owieness..
second evening - no soreness anymore, wearing something that *always* without fail shows wetness - and nothing. nothing at all. it's amazing! no smell either (we'll attribute that to the certain dri AM)
day three - not sore, not wet, so far totally totally worth it.
update: so pleased with this purchase. it works, it works well - just don't put too much on, and do follow the directions.
