Customer Review: The only product that works

Anyone who tells you that Certain Dri does not work will be a liar. This is the ONLY product on the market available without prescription that does work. I had a very heavy perspiration all my life. I used every possible products including designer stick deodorant/antiperspirant that were VERY expensive. Nothing worked for more than 2-3 hours and my white shirts always had yellow underarm stains. Certain Dri put a STOP to all of that mess. It does have some side effects if you improperly use it (burning & itching). I found a way to use it after shower. I turn an electric fan or airconditioner for about 2 minutes to make my armpits dry and cool, and after that I put 2 up and down strokes of Certain Dri (anything more than that will cause burning - you have to adjust it based on your skin sensitivity) and spread it around with my fingers. It does work for more than 24 hours. This is one of the best products I discovered in a long time.
UPDATE: I just browsed and read some negative reviews of this products. People who write those reviews don't read instructions. This product is different than all others. It will burn your armpits and will cause severe itch if you don't use it properly.
Here is a shortcut (you must be dry/cool, put small amount) - just follow these instructions:
1. Don't put it on wet and/or very warm skin (after hot shower or after your summer sweat)
2. Put very small amount (2 strokes - one up and one down)
3. Let it dry before you put your arms down (aircon or fan)

I am not the type to sweat excessively under my arms so I had no use for this product. I'd seen the commercials but never gave them much thought. Anyway, I do suffer from a VERY embarrasing problem and that is that my feet sweat way too much! It was a constant embarrasment to wear cute strappy shoes, sandals, etc. because my feet were constantly sweating. You can imagine that they smelled, ruined my shoes, etc. Whenever I would visit a friend or family member (and I was wearing something that exposed my feet) I would go into their bathroom and wash my feet in their sink just to feel comfortable. Isn't that awful? Well, I'd finally had it so I went to my podiatrist and let her know about my problem. She gave me a sample of certain dri and told me to use it on my feet before I went to bed and see if it helped. If it didn't, she would give me a prescription for something that I would only need to wear once a week. Anyway, I tried it and it worked!! Within two days, my problem was solved. As a bonus, my hands don't sweat as much either (isn't that weird? I'm sure my hands would sweat due to the anxiety of my sweaty feet). Now I use it every couple - three days, before I go to bed, and I concentrate on the area under my toes, which is where I did most of my sweating. I apply it sparingly and it works so well. I'm very happy with this product. Please consult with your own podiatrist before you use the product as I've been instructed to do so. First thing I noticed about the box was the enormous government warning label on the back of the box entitled "Drug Facts". This warning label has a list of appropriate uses and directions for the product. Never before have I seen a Drug Facts warning box on any other deodorant. Some other posts have related how people actually skipped a day between uses of this product. Frankly, I didn't put any stock in those posts, because really who skips days when putting on deodorant. Well I have to say that I have graduated to a point where I only use this product once a week and I never have pit stains on my shirts. I simply use a deodorant only product like High Endurance everyday and use this as the antiperspirant component. You only apply it to your underarms before you go to bed at night. Make sure that your underarms aren't damp or wet from like say taking a shower. I don't mind telling you that it feels a little funny underneath there just after application. But the uncomfortable sensation has never lasted more than 60 seconds for me. The next morning I apply a deodorant because this product has no fragrance smell to it at all. If there is any smell to it, I would have to say it smells a little like the dry cleaners. I have used it for over 6 months now with no adverse side affects. I previously had been the butt of office jokes and I would never wear anything but a black shirt even in the hottest summer days. When I first read the reviews for this product, I thought this could really work. My dermatologist had prescribed a similar product before and I figured this would be a good OTC alternative.
When I got the product I applied it for 3 nights in a row. After that my hands and feet were completely dry. I thought it was heaven and it gave me so much more confidence. I used it a couple of more nights and at the same time I started having a severe allergic reaction. My whole body started severely itching and I broke out in hives in a lot of different places. I went to my doctor who tested everything and couldn't find a reason for the severe itching. I was in severe discomfort from the itching for about 2 - 3 months!!!
I didn't make the connection to the deodorant until this week. I hadn't used the deodorant ever since the initial couple of applications. But I did put it on my hands again last week. My itching had just started to subside and I was so relieved. But after putting the deodorant on again the severe itch has returned.
I started to search through all the different reviews of Certain Dri to see if anybody else experienced a similar reaction and lo and behold another reviewer experienced the exact same thing!!!!! I also have to add that I am not particular sensitive to allergens. I have no other known allergies. But this was one of the worst experiences in my life. PLEASE USE THIS PRODUCT VERY, VERY CAUTEOUSLY!!

I seriously thought I was just gonna be one of those people who had to wear layers even in the summer. While, I will still wear them, It's no longer a requirement. I used to tell how hot it was by how fast it took me to sweat but not anymore. I'm so surprised with how well this worked! I put it on at night, as directed, but I didnt feel anything. I thought "maybe I didnt put on enough" but everyone was saying to put on two or three rolls. I wound up putting on about 10 lol It didnt burn or itch ( i'm guessing because I was already wearing deodorant but I didnt wanna wash it off and have my arm pits wet and then irritate myself further)...I thought it wasnt going to work because it STILL wasnt burning like everyone said it would. That morning my pits were dry. Not like "no sweat" dry but "They need some lotion" kinda dry lol It tickled me a bit but a took a shower and put on deodorant anyway. Usually by the time I have my shirt on, i'm already sweaty but not this time. I didnt swear for the entire day....and three days after that. I'm guessing this product does better the longer you use it b/c I havent used it since last week and I'm still sweat free. If you're having doubts, dont. Certain Dri is THE BEST! Nothing else worked for me & Ive tried a lot of things. I would suggest shaving 2 days before if you have to shave. The hair may interfere with the strength ....
it's an all around good product though. It does as promised!
