I am a 16 year old highschool student (who doesn't like giving her info. out online, thats why I used the kids form) and I live in Clearwater, FL. I have had a problem with perspiration since I was about 12 or 13. It wasn't excessive but enough that I was embarrassed to wear a t-shirt or light colorsand i wanted something to alleviate my sweating. I tried every anti-perspirent/deodorant on the market and none worked. I saw the ad for Certain-Dri on television and ignored it for about a month until I got so fed up with my problem that I decided to give Certain-Dri a chance. I bought it at my local walmart and bought a deodorant only product to go along with it that I use every morning. The first night I had a little itching but nothing serious and the next day Certain-Dri worked great! I was so excited to come home and write a review but I decided to use it for a few more days and its been 3 weeks now. I havent sweat a drop! I went out and bought a plethera of cute little shirts in any color I pleased and dont have to worry about sweating at all. I have taken a large affinity to this product and I think you will do the same if you give it a try. As for the itching, its no big deal. It may seem like a pain at first but once you see how great this product works the itching will seem like nothing. Im so excited! OK, I'm 15 years old and I just started sweating really bad... Then I found Certain Dri by luck and read up on it. Its AWESOME! The only way I can express how good it is is by telling you a lil story (LOL gather round children)
My first day on Certain Dri, I played soccer in muggy, hot conditions for 45 minutes straight. I ran as much as I could, since I royally suck at soccer, and when I went back inside I trudged to the bathroom thinking, 'Here we go again, I'm going to have hugggeeee pit stains and I barely did anything on the field!'. Went to a mirror, made sure no one was there, lifted my arms... AND NO STAINS! Not even a tiny one! Ran down over heated hallway, plopped down in my chair, went through 5 more classes in only one fairly air conditioned room (I was in that room twice for classes though), and one room being so overheated you could barely breathe and let me tell you I couldnt!!! I had a pit stain once I was out of that class that I could barely see in bright light in a mirror, and I was wearing an orange shirt by my experiences orange shows sweat real well. And before school in the morning I was doing some extensive play practice! And at the end of the day my teeny tiny large-speck-of-dust sized pit stain had disappeared anyway! It was like there was Certain Dri and some reinforcements behind it or something! I LOVE CERTAIN Review: A lifesaver
Summary: 5 Stars What would I do without Certain Dri??? I've been using it for several years now, and this is why I love Certain Dri: I could be sitting calmly in a cool room and still have sweat drenched armpits.
Before I started using Certain Dri, I'd have to bring an extra clean shirt to work, along with deodorant and baby wipes to try and clean my armpits throughout the day. But since I started using Certain Dri, I can wear sleeveless blouses for the first time in my life. Really, Certain Dri has changed my life, sounds corny, I know, but I wish I'd tried it years ago.
Regarding itching and sensitive skin, I have this problem and sometimes it would itch so much it would wake me up at night. I use unscented deodorant during the day, and that probably helps. Plain ol' hydrocortisone didn't do much, but what REALLY works to alleviate the itching is Dermarest Eczema Medicated Lotion. It has 1% hyrdocortisone in it, like other ointments, but for some reason, the Dermarest Eczema lotion works the best, within a few minutes the underarm itchiness is gone. Give it a try, and don't give up on Certain Dri..... it is one of a kind for being rid of underarm wetness. Start out using it only a couple nights a week if you experience skin irritation, and about 15 minutes after applying Certain Dri, go ahead and apply Dermarest to your underarms.

When I first saw the reviews of this product I thought, 'Finally. Thank the Lord.' I have suffered excessive sweating since I was six years old. I've never been able to wear the clothes I want to. Forget skin-tight Hollister or Aero-I can't even wear Target brand shirts that dip down an inch under my arms. I'm a girl in High School, so sweating is helping to ruin my life. Last year, because of my sweating, I ended up being the chick who always wears the baggy hoodies. So forget boys. Shopping with friends. I even noticed sweat stains on my Homecoming dress and that just made me cry. Because that should have been special and because of my sweating my life sucked.
So when I heard about Certain-Dri I was so excited! I went to three different stores and couldn't find it. Then I found the solid form and bought it. I was so happy after opening the box. I ran to my closet and picked out my favorite clothes that I'd never been able to wear. I applied Certain-Dri and went to sleep with a smile. I thought about how different my life would be. But the next morning, in first period, I lifted my arm. I had a HUGE sweat-stain. I was so embarassed. It was just horrible. I tried it for about another week before a bought the Roll-On version. Same results though. I'm very dissapointed. It's like I got offered a new chance to live and had it stripped away...

Ok, so I'm 33, female and have always been a sweater. Not like having sweat rings down to my waist, but have always had sweat rings. If I wore a t-shirt, I'd have sweat rings immediately. I would wear only black shirts during the summer or tank tops that didn't touch my pits. For work, I would always wear either sleeveless or something with a jacket. It was truly a full-time issue. I would sweat during the winter, summer, spring and fall. It just didn't matter what the temperature was - I was constantly sweating under my arms. I saw certain dry at the drug store and recognized it from a magazine. I have tried EVERY antiperspirant/deodorant on the market. Sometimes trying two at the same time (that worked for like two days). I tried CD the first night and the very next day - NOT ONE DROP OF SWEAT. I am amazed. I have been using it for 4 days and today I wore a fitted, grey, thin, long-sleeved sweater to work... one that I would normally have sweat rings on in ten seconds... and not a drop! I have realized that I've been using it wrong - putting it on after a bath - so need to stop that because it does sting/itch. But I'll take the stinging and itching instead of sweating. I HIGHLY recommend this product!
My life is changed - now I just need to get used to looking at clothes I would never even look at before.
