I'm a big Obama supporter so when I heard of Chia Obama, I was all for it. The Obama head looks just like the product pics. The seeding process was simple enough. The only complaint I have is that it's not as low maintenance as I thought it would be and the fro doesn't last for more than a month. The pottery is so porous that the water level continually drops and you have to keep refilling it and emptying the tray. I was truly astounded at the quality of the product, the likeness, the affordability and most of all, the fact that this clay replica has more intellectual brain power than the original on Pennsylvania Avenue! Delivery was spot on and I used this as a gift for a close relative who is using it now and enjoys seeing the Chia Pet hair grow each day almost as much as our national debt. I would recommend this product to everyone as a reminder of the mistake we made last November.Customer Review: I bought several!!

My wife works at a college in the president's office. I'm making one with bozo hair, one with a mohawk, and one with hair like Larry from the three stooges. She can put them all on her desk for the liberals to fume over. This is the greatest Obama item so far. Truly a collector's item, unlike those stupid plates and coins. The day I saw the commercial on television and realized it wasn't a spoof, I HAD to have this item. The "determined" expression makes me smile every time I see it... It's hard to keep enough water to make the seeds grow on top, since the clay evaporates a lot of the moisture before it makes it all the way up; but that is an inherent problem with the Chia pets. For Christmas every year in addition to the regular presents we give, we also do gag gifts. My step father is always the hardest to buy for since he always has everything, but he didn't have an Obama chia! His face opening this present was classic considering his strong distaste for Obama. Best gag gift we had this year and worth every penny.
