First, let me say, I recommend this seller, Raw Food World. They sell a good product & ship quickly. They also have the best price.
Anyway, I'm not sure if Chia is doing me any good, but Dr. Oz says it does, so that's good enough for me :-) It does contain fiber, but I find that ground flax seeds are a better choice in the regularity dept.
The great thing about these is that they don't really seem to have a taste. They're just crunchy. I use them whipped w/ protein powder for a shake & in bran muffins. I don't think I'd be making that chia gel people are talking about, I think that would be pretty gross!
If you're looking to add some omega fatty acids, protein & fiber this is a good option.

I have ordered these chia seeds multiple times. I keep coming back for more. I am very happy with the product and the seller. I will keep buying these with this price and this service. Last year, we replaced our daily flax seeds with chia seeds. Chia seeds are excellent for humans and pets alike. Chia seeds blend well in our morning smoothies, and our pets take small doses in a little applesauce each day. Since our dogs started chia, our dogs no longer have problems with anal glands that need to be expressed.
