I bought two of these,for my husband and myself. I'd hoped they would improve our hot-faced sleeping. Unfortunately, the Chillow's inner foam rolled and bunched up with even a small amount of moving around. It's probable that the bunching voided the cooling effects, too... we never noticed even a small amount of cooling, once the Chillows were in place. I'm sure we filled them properly, as they were cool sitting on the counter. But they just didn't work in bed. If you are someone who moves around while sleeping, and especially moves around your pillow at night (or, as I do, hugs the pillow), I don't recommend the Chillow at all. This is the best thing I have ever bought! I love a cool pillow - always have and hate turning it over and over through the night. Add hot flashes to that and you have a miserable night. Once I got the Chillow, it gave me about 5 hours of great sleep. I usually have to turn my pillow around (not over) to utilize the other side of the Chillow for the rest of the night. Sometimes, I can just smooth cool water down to where my head has heated the Chillow - but usually, I just turn the pillow around. I'm going to buy a second one for my hot feet now!
I have also found that if I have a headache this will help and really helps for sinus headaches.
It is worth every penny!!!

Place a chillow inside your regular pillow case, and feel the cool memory foam wick heat away from your head, neck and shoulders. A friend told me about this product, and I ordered it from Amazon when I couldn't find it in local health and beauty retailers. It's a sealed waterproof rectangular case with about a half inch thick slab of memory foam inside. You add about 9 cups of water to the envelope and reseal the watertight valve after squeezing out all the air bubbles. Then the foam works to cool you when your skin comes into contact. It has helped me get much better sleep, and I don't think I could sleep at all without it now. I highly recommend it.Customer Review: Wonderful invention!

Living in the Chihuahuan Desert and going through menopause is no fun at all. I now own two Chillows -- one regular and one plus -- and really like them. They don't stay as cool all night as I'd like, but then nothing would, and these are much, much better than an ice pack. I would suggest people think of them as a 'cooling pad' and not just a pillow. I lay on them, sit on them (I'm small, this might not be a good idea for someone heavy), put one over my shoulders, behind my back, across my lap, under my feet -- I've even made a hot-flash sandwich with one under me and one on top. Now I just wish they'd come up with lightweight chillow clothing!Customer Review: love the Chillow but...

this is a must-have for my night time sleep comfort. however, it does have one fatal flaw. invariably within several months (maybe a year if i'm lucky) it will develop a leak. there's nothing pleasant about awakening in a small puddle of water/damp pillow. however, i'll happily trade 364 other days of joyous cold pillow for that one loser leak day. i just wish they could find a more durable material to make this out of and maintain the chillow effect. it's a waste of time trying to get any kind of warranty service. even if the leak occurs during warranty, you'll end up wasting more time and money trying to get it fixed vs just buying another.
