Customer Review: Combined with Kenalog, it's been great

I've had to have a keloid scar removed from the back of my neck 4 times now. Every time it gets removed, it just comes back. This time, I decided to really work on it and try to keep it away. My solution was kenalog (a prescription injection), and these silicon pads. The combination has worked beautifully, as it's now been 4-5 months and the scar is still perfectly flat. I can't tell if it's been the kenalog or these silicon pads that have kept it away, or if it's been some combination of the two, but I do notice that if it starts to flair up at all putting one of these on will flatten it back out within a day or two.
They stick decently throughout the day, though typically come off if you sleep with them on (at least on the back of my neck they did, maybe somewhere like an arm wouldn't be so prone to rub off in the night), so I usually use a small bandage to hold them on.

I have used this product for a year. I had a scar at the knee that is very easy to getting bigger because it's at the joint. But I didn't use it daily. But now I wear it with a kneecap everyday for a month.
So far the result is good because my scar used to be very bold and out of the skin. When I start to use this gel sheet, it flats the scar really well. So far I'm satisfied about the effect.
I had good experience shopping with the seller Vitality Medical. Once the product has a problem with package(too sticky to the paper that I couldn't peel it off, but that only happens once, I purchased before from the same seller that doesn't have the problem). They know about it and replace me the new one. They really care about the customer and I think I will purchase again with the same company.

This product was applied post-surgery by my hand therapist. By the time the wound healed I was already forming a 1/2" long "ropy" spot in the scar, as well as considerable other ugly features. Both the therapist & I are thrilled with the reduction so far - the raised area is down to one small spot, and the overall appearance is much improved. It has even reduced the old scarring from a burn adjacent to the incision.
The only issue I have is that the patch needs to be replace every 10-12 days - I haven't seen anything near 28 days of use in spite of being careful about washing and covering it.
This product is superior in performance to the other OTC scar products I have used after several previous surgeries.

Bought the pad for my six year old son after he scraped his face falling in the street. He wears it during the night and at home but we have to cover it with a dressing or it falls of when he plays outside or turn in his bed. Maybe it works better on other area of the body and on folks that are less squirmy! For the efficacity I can't tell because we haven't used it for the whole 4 months yet. The scars are less red but the bumpy ones where the cut were deep don't seem to have changed at all. I had a large hard hypertrophic scar tissue on my face... and tried everything under the sun to address it topically and internally. Silicone sheeting seemed to be the most effective, I tried all brands, but it wasnt until this brand Cica Care that I saw the really radical difference, the scar tissue, was shrinking, flattening, softening as well as the incision from surgery reducing and evening and redness clearing. I have used it faithfully 8 to 12 hours a day every day for 8 months and I continue to see improvements every week, It is more than 90% cleared up. I also use Derma E scar gel daily.
