Thirty years ago, my stylist told me I could save money by using this product instead of paying her for the treatment. Back then, I was blonde and Luminze gave me shine and a "brightened up" my hair without ever having roots. Now, I have as much gray as I have blonde. Luminize now takes the dull out of my gray, allowing me to extend the time between the partial highlighting I get professionally done at the salon. Stongly recommend, easy to use, extremely difficult to do wrong.Customer Review: disappointing product

This product was very hard to wash out of the hair even after using clarifying shampoo several times. Even the smell of the hair dye stayed in my hair for about 2 weeks. It damaged my hair and only lightened just a little bit which can barely even be recognized. I do not recommend this. Sun-in spray lightens better and is easy to wash out of the hair and doesn't do as much damage as this product does.Customer Review: GREAT lightner

this lightened my hair easily and quickly just one shade. It went from medium blonde to light blonde with no brassiness at all! Its overall brightening kept my hairs natural highlights. Though my hair is not any shinier, it does feel softer and is definitely not damaged by this product. i would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a subtle and non-damaging lift in their hair color.Customer Review: Just the lift I needed.

I am pleased to report that it worked exactly as advertised. It lifted my hair color one shade, from dark blond to medium blond and left is in healthy condition. My hair is very delicate and I was concerned about lightening it, but it seems to be no worse for the wear. I highly recommend this product.Customer Review: No more brassy color

By far the best hair lightener on the market and I've tried most. This product lightened my dark brown hair to light brown without the orange brassy tones you usually get with other products. Where I wanted blond streaks I simply used it more often.
