Customer Reviews of Clarisonic Classic Skincare Brush - WhiteCustomer Review: AFTER ONE WEEK OF USE Summary: 4 Stars
My observant boyfriend noticed me drooling over the Clarisonic for months now...he suprised me and bought it for Valentines Day!
I read tons of reviews on the Clarisonic and was aware that for the first week or two most people noticed an increase in breakouts as the toxins are rising to the surface of your skin...this is a very true statement and I am glad I was ready for that to happen. My face has not broken out a TON more but I did notice a few more whiteheads than normal. I have mild to moderate acne with just blackheads and whiteheads but no cystic acne.
We have this great boutique where I live here called Skin Chic. It is a great little place that sells the Bare Essentuals-Bare Minerals make-up line as well as some other amazing skin and sun care products. They are who my boyfriend bought my Clarisonic from so I knew when I started to notice more breakouts I would question them. The employees there are all anestheticians and they all have a Clarisonic for personal use. They confided in me that the first 2-3 weeks I will in fact produce more breakouts than normal and they backed up the claim that it is because the toxins are all being brought to the surface.
So...it has been a little over a week since I have started using the Clarisonic and now I am going to try using some of the toner that Skin Chic is having me try, as I have read on other reviews to use a toner to help the bacteria from being spread.
Beside my increased amount of moderate acne breakouts, I have noticed that the areas that are not affected by my acne are SO much smoother. I do not use anything topical after cleansing my face so I cannot verify that the products absorb more sufficiently but I do know I am using a LOT less makeup, and boy is that mineral make-up pricey! I am also using a lot less of my Naturally Clear fomaing wash(which by the way is a life saver).
I will try to submit another review in a month or so to explain the progress.

Customer Review: Love my Clarisonic Summary: 5 Stars
I read a million reviews of this product before purchasing mine. With a price this high, you really have to. While I haven't exactly experienced the miraculous results that a lot of other people on the internet claim to have experienced, I really love this product. As someone who has had skin problems in the past, I am hyper vigilant when it comes to washing, exfoliating, etc. and feel I did pretty good job even before I found the Clarisonic brush. But now that I have the Clarisonic, I know what REALLY clean and smooth skin feels like. I have only been using the Clarisonic brush for about a month but already seem to be experiencing clearer, more even skin and reduced breakouts. Considering that the natural cycle of the skin is 6-8 weeks, I was surprised to see results so quickly. Maybe my skin will be even better four weeks from now.
There are a few things I'd like to add:
#1. I didn't use the skincare products that came with the Clarisonic brush. I read a number of reviews online that claimed the products weren't very good and so I used my brand of choice, Philosophy, and had excellent results.
#2. I did have a "purge" of sorts for the first week or two when I started using the brush. I had a few areas of my face breakout that I normally never have problems with. The impression I got was that the Clarisonic brush sort of jiggled some impurities to the surface of my skin and they had to work their way out. But I just kept up my routine and my skin came out the other side even better than it was before.
So while the Clarisonic brush has hardly given me perfect skin, I'd say that it has helped reduce my numer of breakouts and has given me a more even skin tone. In fact, I'm finding myself using less concealer and foundation because my skin has been looking so nice. I give the Clarisonic brush a thumbs up and am glad I decided to splurge.
Customer Review: It's like a giant toothbrus for your face... Summary: 4 Stars
I'm in my early twenties and I am in a constant battle with my face. I use to have really bad acne which left me with a lot of scarring. Obagi helped a lot by getting rid of the scarring.
I started using Clarisonic recently. I was little hesitant at first because of the price. But heck, it's my face, and whatever I can do to make it a little better, it's worth it.
First of all, the brush does clean my face well. My face does feel cleaner and smoother after using the brush. I like taking in to the shower with me as well to use on my body. I use it on the back of my arms and it has helped get rid of those little red pimples. By the way, the brush is not harsh on the face as long as you aren't pressing down hard. By the end of the first day, I had it on high with the normal brush head.
Is it worth $200? No, but it's the only one on the market in its class. Trust me, I looked. Nothing compares to this one. Yes, it is definitely overpriced and they probably make a HUGE profit on it. Probably in a year after they get some competition from other brands, it will be cheaper. Also, buy the MD version. The MD version has THREE speeds. This version only has two. They cost the same!
One thing I do hate about the brush is the number of buttons. Basically one button does everything on this brush. It turns it on, off, changes speed, changes mode...it's ridiculous. They need more buttons on this thing.
Another thing I hate about this brush is that you can't replace the battery! So, after three years when the battery breaks (and eventually they will all break), you have to purchase a new Clarisonic brush.
Overall, if you have the money, go for this brush. If you don't...wait, in a couple of months, the price will probably drop when other brands create similar products.

Customer Review: Amazing Summary: 5 Stars
I've had this brush for 2 days. It's now my best friend.
I've had acne and rosacea since childhood, dealing with moderate (occasionally severe) symptoms through college, when the acne became worse in my twenties and thirties--a lot worse. I've tried most products, prescriptions (all but Accutane), and lasers (which were a disaster). I still woke up with new acne each morning.
In 2 days of using this brush, I'm already seeing improvements enough to praise it. The cleanser does make a difference. I use MyChelle Cranberry Cleanser, followed by a witch hazel toner, and aloe vera for moisturizer (using the more gentle brush). Cream moisturizers of any sort, even oil-free, clog my pores. I've stopped all "acne" products except the cleanser because they don't seem to help and often hurt. Diet, in my case, does seem to have a direct link to my skin appearance.
The pimples are clearing, the brown spots are fading, and I didn't find new problems this morning! In just 2 days! I'm almost afraid to believe in any product, after being disappointed so many times, but this looks like the real deal. I'm 37 and might have finally learned to manage this condition. It's not vanity; I just want to be able to get up in the morning and not have to approach the mirror with the "What now?" feeling. I'd like to stop relying on foundation to help me look other people in the eye.
If you've struggled with these problems, try this brush; you can always return it if it's not for you. It will end up saving me a lot of money because I'll stop spending on new products, just to try them, in the vain hope that there's a miracle in the bottle. There never has been. But there's a miracle in the brush!
