Customer Review: Not Just for the Face!!!

first, i love what this has done for my face in the three weeks that i've used it. almost instant results....visible results. i have combo skin that is patchy and dry around my cheeks and mouth, oily in the t-zone, oily AND acne-prone around my chin. after three weeks (night use only) it's all evened out to one texture. my pores are a lot less noticeable and my skin just looks healthier.
that's not the only benefit, though. in order to justify the price, i had to find other uses for it. i love to use the "normal" brush head on my knees, elbows and the backs of my legs. i got my husband his own brush head to use on his back, neck and shoulders where he tends to break out. please don't hesitate to use this on acne-prone skin. i know you're not supposed to scrub acne, but this does not scrub, it's a very gentle cleanse that's going to remove some of the impacted dirt and oil that causes break outs.
with regular use, this skin care brush does what it says it will do. it's going to make everything else you use on your skin work ten times better.

Purchased the Clarisonic Standard in May based on the recommendation of 2 friends who had the higher priced Clarisonic Plus. Neither use the body brush nor the 3 speeds, so they recommended that I just get the Clarisonic Standard. They were right and I absolutely love the product. I was a daily Buff Puff Gentle user prior to this, so my skin was not in bad shape. However, I can tell that this is doing more to even out the discloration in my chin area than my Buff Puff Gentle ever did. It's so gentle (higher speed and sensitive brush head), that I can use it under my eyes. The result is that my Aveda eye cream is more effective. I also use less of my Aveda Green Science Serum because my skin is smoother. I travel a lot, so I also invested in a second Clarisonic Mia for travel purposes. It comes with an aerated cap for the sensitive brush head, so I can just throw it in my suitcase and not worry about smashing the bristles. Lastly, it's actually "fun" to wash my face. I look forward to washing it twice a day. Wonderful product. I'd encourage everyone to get one.Customer Review: A wonderful little invention

I'm in my 40's, with very oily skin. While I rarely get pimples anymore, I often get those under-the-skin bumps, and I have had blackheads since my teens. Thousands of dollars over the years have gone to purchase products that *swore* they would get rid of my blackheads...they all lied.
As of three weeks ago, the Clarisonic Skin Care Brush entered my life. My face has never looked better!! Sure, it takes care of the daily dirt and old makeup...it also draws out the old dirt and clogged material that's been in my pores for who knows how long. I had a couple of enlarged pores...they are greatly minimized. The 2 lines that I do have on my face are my "laugh lines"...they are minimized, I do believe, because my face is so clean that daily makeup doesn't get trapped there anymore.
Now, this hasn't happened quite overnight...it's not miraculous...but almost. In three weeks, I have gone from contemplating laser skin resurfacing to being very pleased with my complexion. This skin care brush is not inexpensive, but boy, is it ever worth it!!

I have only had this product for 3 weeks now and I am very happy with the results. Keep in mind that I only bought this after a dermatologist had recommended it.
I have "combination" skin (very dry patches and very oily patches)and a few months ago I noticed I started to break out in areas on my face where I had never broken out before and my pores, god my pores were so clogged! I went to the derm and she gave me a watered down "mix" of Retin-A Micro and Clindamycin. If you don't know, Retin-A Micro makes your skin peel like CRAZY for the first few weeks. Needless to say, the clarisonic brush was great with this because the gentle setting was easy enough on my skin through Retin-A treatment but also hard enough to scrub the dead skin away nightly. My skin is much smoother, not to mention it feels like a massage every time I use it! I will keep using this even after acne treatment.

Have been using this for 2 weeks and my skin feels super clean and smooth! It's expensive, but I figure by using the brush, at least I no longer have to buy scrubbing creams to exfoliate. It could just be wishful thinking, but I'm convinced it's somehow erasing my laugh lines; will have to watch that over the longer term. And I have sensitive skin, but this is surprisingly gentle -- you don't really scrub your face with it... the sonic technology seems to do the work for you.
The only downside is that the beep settings take a while to get used to (you have to set your preferences by setting the beep tones, sort of confusing -- why no real buttons?), not such a big deal once you get it set the way you plan to use it.
Positives: Skin feels clean, smooth, and tingly; can use in shower; wrinkle remover?
Negatives: Expensive
Overall, great product.
