I am a hot water bottle junkie. I carry one around on cool evenings and most often sleep with one in the bed. I ignore the warnings on the bottles that say do not fill with boiling water. I fill the bottle straight from my electric kettle. These bottles have held up longer than any I have used in the past. The rubber is thicker which makes it stay warmer longer. I can fill it up at 7 pm and chuck it into the bed under the down comforter. When I come home from work the next day it is still warm to the touch. Actually, I think the cat sleeps on it. The hole and stopper are a little larger than most other bottles, therefore easier to fill. Both are plastic and seem to hold up well to the heat. I have yet to have a leak in 2 years. Well worth the cost.
