I have been using proactiv for years and decided to try out clean & clear to see if I could get better results. The first day or two I was pleased, its certainly easier to apply - but then I started having more outbreaks, and a lot more whiteheads. After re-reading the reviews (and realizing that things won't get better) I've decided to switch back. For all everyone out there, it doesn't hurt to try different products! Get what works best for your skin, but for me that is ProActiv.Customer Review: Actualy made it worse

I used this product over the course of a month. I used it twice everyday and followed the directions exactly.It made my acne worse. I thought it may just be getting the dirt and stuff out of my pores and after a while it would clear up. that never happened. It just kept getting worse.I understand that different things work for different people, but I was really surprised this was the first time an acne product actually made it worse.I was also surprised that something made by Clean and Clear could actually suck this much. I like most of their other products. I would advise people to not buy this product. Customer Review: Item Never Received

I was very eager to try this product, however; I was out while the delivery was attempted. What I did not know (and found out after the fact) was there was to be only one delivery attempt made!!!!
Needless to say, I'm a little POed. If anyone orders this product, please be aware that the company uses UPS for delivery options and makes only one attempt at delivery. Perhaps this is too restrictive for some customers. It is also not impossible that Target has the same policy for many of their other items.

I'm 33 and have used ProActiv every day since I was in my early 20's. For the last few years, I've been too lazy to wash my face at night, and I think that's why the ProActiv has seemed less effective than before.
ANYWAY, I saw a commercial for this Clean & Clear kit, and it claimed it was better than ProActiv, you'll see results in a day, etc. So I bought it. The first time I used it, my skin did actually feel softer after. But that was the end of the improvement---I still have little bumps all over my face like before, only now, after using the Clean & Clear for a week, they have gotten worse. SO....I'm going back to my ProActiv.
