I have tried many protein bars and have found this one to be my favorite. I eat them before or after workouts and as meal replacements when I'm on the go. Because they are a little heftier than some other bars they fill me up. I love the crunchy and chewy texture. It has a nutty flavor, but is sweet enough to satisfy. A great, yummy product! I have ordered them during the hot summer and found the product to have been melted and reformed when arrived, but during cooler seasons I haven't had any problems with the order. It arrives promptly and is a fresh box ready to go! Gotta get my next order in...Customer Review: Best protein bars I've ever tasted

I'd eaten Protein Power Bars for years as a marathoner, coolled on them once they took their Double Fudge flavor off the market. Since I'm pregnant I wanted to up my protein but I wanted to do so in a nutritionally sound way (ie I wanted to avoid the high fructose corn syrup prevalent in so many bars including Power Bars). I bought a box of these on a whim, not expecting much taste-wise since they're organic. Surprise! They're great. Not overly sweet, wonderful mint taste, fills you up, does not give you the "sugar high and crash" of some energy bars. I'd highly recommend these.Customer Review: getting closer "zone-wise"

Love these....I buy the regular clif bars as a treat occassionally, but the carbs are so out of wack with the protein (should be close to the same number of grams to be considered "zone friendly"). So for regular lunching/munching, I usually use Pure Protein Bars.
While these builder bars are still pretty carb heavy, with 20 grams of protein, they are closing the gap. So the sugar crash isn't as bad, and I feel satisfied for much longer.
Now if they'd just get rid of the coating, maybe we'd get closer yet! Oh, and get competitive on the pricing!

I LOVE the Peanut Butter Builder's bars. While Amazon is great for so many things, a trip to TJ's is too good to pass up. A little cup of coffee, a sample or two and into the cart with some fresh vegetables and whatever else is irresistible that day. Life doesn't get much better. If TJ's weren't local (perish the thought!), i'd order the bars from Amazon. With Amazon's sales volume, 2-day FedEx delivery and a sheltered place for the packages when they arrive, freshness hasn't been a problem.Customer Review: Liked when not trying to lose weight!

These are not for weight loss, they are more for athletes or body builders, although my kids really like them and so I send them with to school as a great snack, I was using them as a in between meal snack as I do work out so thats why I gave them a 5 star cause with all of the other junk snacks out there today this protein bar replaces any sweet tooths cravings all organic is another reason with no artificial sweetners and no added fillers, just to high in carbs for what I need.
